Lovely setting and views from the hotel public areas and our room. Quiet and peaceful. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Room spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast was self serve offering a good choice of hot & continental. Swimming pool was closed whilst we were there unfortunately but hot tub jacuzzi and sauna were open and available along with other Spa facilities. Would definitely stay again.

All of the staff from the reception team to the breakfast team bar team and room cleaning team were so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and quiet with plenty of tea/coffee/milk/ biscuits for our 1 night stay. We really enjoyed having use of the pool/steam room/sauna and jacuzzi. Especially adults gaving use of it for an hour before children were allowed in. Definitely would stay there again.

We had a lovely relaxing stay and had plenty of time to enjoy the nice pool. The bed was large and very comfortable so slept well. We didn’t eat at the restaurant as it wasn’t overly tempting for a vegetarian. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.

I’ve stayed here before and I have to say the property has degraded considerably. The mattress was terrible in the room leaving both my wife and I with sore backs and hips. The ‘Spa’ pool, sauna, jacuzzi, etc were tired and lacking cleanliness. The changing rooms were dirty and showing their age as well as water damage to metal furnishings. The lack of items in the room like a fridge or even basic wash items such as a shower cap, cotton bud etc were noticeable by absence. Overall I wouldn’t come back as it was lacking in the basics of cleanliness and hygiene as well as other things I’d expect as complimentary of a Spa Hotel - like a decent bed.

Very happy with our stay. Family room was comfortable. Lovely pool area, although having earlier children swim would have been good. Waiting till 9am with a 3 year old was tricky! Nice breakfast. Is stay here again.

Wife birthday weekend

We wanted a nice relaxing and chilled weekend. The hotel, room except for the shower and hairdryer, food and the staff were awesome. However we couldn’t use the pool as it was freezing cold. The pool was one of the reasons we picked this hotel.
