Lovely garden grounds, no frills
Hotel Paradis is a lovely getaway in the elevated area away from the beaches. But a short drive to any number of beaches in the Lavandou area. The grounds are lovely with great gardens, very picturesque. Coming from North America, I took for granted a continental breakfast was included with our room, and no price was indicated anywhere but it was 8 euros, we realized when checking out. The hotel is old and not in great condition but it was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The village of Bormes-les-Mimosas (drive UP) is worth visiting if you enjoy the quaint old fashioned French villages.

beautiful location
Nice hotel with nice location. Two downs : (1) the heat is not working yet the manager will tell you you turn this on like this .... and for vein ( they know it is not working , dust over it , look like it hasn't been used for a while) ; (2) The service at reception could improve: They did not answer when you call late evening even if in case of problem not locating the hotel.., an hour before check out they are already after you even if you check in late.

Sono molto delusa da questa esperienza , gia' dall' ingresso ho capito che c' era qualcosa che non andava, l' esterno e' fatiscente pieno di piante da pulire , da potare, pieno di foglie e rami da raccogliere. La reception e il locale colazioni sono buie , tutto e' vecchio da ristrutturare. Ma la cosa piu' terribile e' stata la camera, e il bagno...uno schifo....anni 50/60 tutto da buttare e ristrutturare. Nonostante tutto abbiamo passato due notti e la camera non e' stata pulita dopo la prima notte......l' unica biancheria del bagno era un salviettone...sul sito vengono pubblicizzate delle camere carine, ho capito purtroppo in ritardo che le camere sul davanti erano state ristrutturate mentre quelle sul retro come la mia noooooo. Ho realizzato che sono stata imbrogliata...........

Eenvoudig, maar mooi, sfeervol, smaakvol ingericht hotel in een prachtige, groene omgeving, en weldadig uitzicht over heuvels en zee. Schappelijk geprijsd en met een vorstelijk ontbijt. Een aanrader voor wie wat sleetplekken hier en daar niet erg vindt.
