The hotel is located in a very noisy area. In addition, there was graffiti at the entrance and a pack of people hanging out across the street partying in the middle of the day. I did not feel safe at all despite assurances from the staff (who were friendly and helpful). I was even going to change my train ticket to leave later in the day so I wouldn’t have to leave the hotel in the dark but alas all trains were fully booked. The bathroom had a shower but no shower curtain or glass partition. There was only a very thin sheet of light material covering the windows so there was light coming into the room all night. And the windows had no sound blocking so I could hear screaming and yelling all night long. It was close to impossible to sleep. Outside my hotel room door there was a small hallway which spelled disgusting. It was one of the worst places I have ever stayed.

A good base for a short city break
My single room was small with only a small window, but it was clean, comfortable and quiet with effective air conditioning. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The position is good, between the station and the centre and it is very close to an airport express bus stop.

Basic comfortable room
The room was small and basic but comfortable and had everything you need for a short visit. The location was also fantastic. However, it was very noisy - you could hear the plumbing from other rooms whenever someone used the bathroom and when I was staying, I could hear every work spoken in the rooms next door to me - Luckily I am a deep sleeper and packed earplugs and would recommend other guests to bring some too.

Very friendly, accommodating staff, great central location, surprisingly quiet room (in an area surrounded by bars). The hotel and room need refurbishment and the room amenities a better attention to detail. The sliding shower door went off its rails, the fabric of the blinds was unraveling, etc. However, I would very much recommend the hotel for an overnight/weekend stay in Toulouse!

Neat little gem with plenty of charm
Check in was effortless, hotel receptionist was very helpful. The rooms were compact, but nicely decorated and clean. Not really right in the middle of everything, but it was a quick ten minute stroll to the main part of the city. Air conditioner worked wonders on a scorching Summer day, but no mini bar in the room, so plan your snacks accordingly.

We stayed here two years ago, and were delighted by artisan shampoos and soaps in the bathroom,and what seemed like a newly updated boutique hotel. This time our bathtub was chipped, carpets on stairways literally coming apart, and bathroom amenities of a chain meeting otel quality.

Convenient and clean hotel
The hotel is ok, great service and small and old but comfortable room. The wifi works quite good. The hotel is very well located, a Carrefour city is just in front, it is one block from Jean Jaures metro and bus stop and a couple of blocks away from the Capitole.

Can not say enough about the staff! From storing our luggage early, recommending dining options and helping with the train tickets - all went above and beyond! Small hotel, a little worn, but bed was great and the room was clean!

Spartan hotel but in a great location
The main positive for this hotel is its location. There are several excellent bistrots nearby, several places of interest are within walking distance, as is Toulouse Matabiau train station. Another positive is the staff who are friendly, helpful and chatty. All with perfect English. The negative is the size of the hotel and the rooms. Everything is cramped. My single room made use of every inch of space. The room itself was Spartan and threadbare (literally - see the picture of the carpet).Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean and I slept well in the single bed ( a bottle of Minervois helped). For what it provided I thought £68 per night was expensive. This is somewhere to drop your bags, sleep, shower and go straight out.

Pros: excellent service, everybody very friendly and helpful at all times; excellent location (very close to airport shuttle; metro; downtown); hotel itself very nicely decorated&clean, free wifi worked fine (was regularly disappearing, but only for short intervals); they apparently use very good locally made toiletries, which they also sell, and which I also saw in the airport shop; you can give them things to put in a fridge (they would also microwave things you want). Cons: one big thing: they are right next two two bars that make lots of noise on weekends (double-glazed windows help a bit)

Friendly small hotel close to centre.
I stayed 2 nights whilst in Toulouse. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. The hotel is close to Jean Jures metro but actually so close to Capitol that it was easier to walk. There was free tean and coffee every time I returned from a trip out. They ordered me a taxi and were very patient with my poor french - they also spoke English.
