Magnificent hotel and staff
This hotel is a gem. It’s close to all the major chateaux but is situated in a beautiful forest. They had bikes for use that we enjoyed as a family. The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The power went out in the whole region unexpectedly due to an intense storm in the area. We had reservations for dinner, and they figured out how to make us a delicious dinner without power, set up a beautiful candle-lit table, and provided us electric candles for our room. The staff went above and beyond. It was an experience well never forget.

Very comfortable and well appointed large rooms. Delicious buffet breakfast with lots of choices. Very nice and helpful staff. Hotel is located in a quiet area, a convenient base to move around to visit Blois, Chambord, chenonceau, Valencay and many other castles. Quite a few very nice and affordable restaurants in the villages within 5 to 7 Kim.

The property is beautiful and quiet. Staff is rude. No room service. No space at hotel to eat in restaurant. No take out. They tell you to go to town and it’s a drive. They don’t care about helping or making things comfortable. Not a 4⭐️

The room is large but not well furnished, everything is very minimal. We arrived and there were no towels so I had to go and get some. Then the in-room coffee had only two packages, no milk or creamer, two papers cups. Not good for three people. It is very far from any other service, no options for meals without a long drive. Very expensive for what is a very average service.

great place and great service. however, you can't rely on GPS to get you there. It's in the woods/forest and we were driving at nighttime and it led us elsewhere as there is no street address. luckily a resident nearby showed us how to get there. the desk clerk was not able to provide directions in English. it was stressful getting there at nighttime but the hotel itself is very nice and the breakfast was a very good value.

Hard to find on bicycle but worth it! Close to Chambourd. Safe bicycle storage. Dining nearby by car but hotel has room service and a bar. Fantastic breakfast for a fee.

Very nice accomodation travelling to Lacanau. We had a stop over here. Kids could swin in the heated pool while we were walking the fog in the nearby forest. Nice dining in the evening. Holiday had started already om the way there

Séjour en Sologne
Très bel établissement, avec une rénovation superbe de bâtiments anciens, pour certains. Chambres de très haut standing, parfaitement décorées, avec beaucoup de confort. Literie parfaite, sanitaires également. Linge de toilette exceptionnel. Personnel jeune et charmant. Bon emplacement, en pleine forêt, dans un calme absolu, et très proches des châteaux de Chambord, Cheverny, Blois, Chaumont, etc ...et du Zoo de Beauval. Tout petit bémol, la partie restauration n'est pas du même niveau que le reste. Ils doivent, je crois améliorer la situation. Au final quand même très satisfait de l'hôtel.
