The hotel location is good and quality of food is really good. Some member's of the staff are doing really well, congratulations to Carmen, Pedro, Sylvana, Carlos, Johan, Cesar. But service could be better, for instance the waiting time at the main bar and 12 tribes restaurant takes too long some times. The hotel needs a full renovation including the gym. But the hotel rooms are in good condition.

You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.

This hotel has been one of my favorite for a long time until this time. Now the property is dated the rooms are old and unkept. The plug next to the sink had the cover completely off and broken the walls were mark med with scuff marks and overall the room felt old. I asked for an ocean view and my room had a huge palm tree obstructing the view. They did move me rooms but the overall hassle was too much.

Highly recommend, this is one the best hotels you can stay at. Food was great, service was great we will be back for sure.
