Towcester in pole position.

From the newly finished car park to check out everthing was A1.. Great welcome and check in. Lovely modern rooms.. Good bar and restaurant (pizza bases could be better).. Wonderful Staff. Simole checkout.

Good rooms. Very helpful friendly staff. And after paying £90 for a room at the Old Talbot by a main road, where the adjoining pub that was closed. So no evening meal and no breakfast.

Hotel was great! Rooms were good size, clean and had everything we needed, and we got an upgrade to track side room which made the stay. We had a small issue with the fridge in our room, hotel staff addressed it immediately and made sure it was corrected. Perfect spot to stay if driving at Silverstone or doing anything track related. Easy walk to Silverstone museum also. Staff were great and food at restaurant was good. If you want to have dinner at the restaurant during your stay make a reservation before you get to hotel or you might not get in. If you don’t have a vehicle there are no other really close dining options. Hotel has laundry facility which was great, wash is 3 pounds and a dryer load is also 3 pounds. No issue to get a car service from Milton Keynes central station to hotel, about 30 pounds each direction. If needing car back to station be prepared might take 30 min or so for car to get to hotel to pick you up if no car in area already. We would stay here again if we are back visiting.

Looks great but…..

Slow service (over an hour!) in the restaurant and poor food choices, then when it did finally arrive in the evening it was lukewarm at best! But there were staff everywhere and the restaurant wasn’t busy !!!

Breakfast - poor facilities - great

Everything in the hotel, the facilities and rooms, are really good. However, the breakfast offered by the hotel is way below what it should be for a 4-star hotel. Poor choice, not enough tables to accommodate even half full hotel, the staff is making all they can but but there is not enough to serve the customers or food. I will try to stay at different hotel next time, purely because of the breakfast quality
