The carpets were stained with an overall dirty appearance. Room advertised said 2 bathrooms, we had one and very slippery. Night 3, air-con in smallest room suddenly developed an unbearable foul smell. Shared air-con control for 3 rooms would not to turn the air-con off. Was unable to enter the room for sleep. Had to ring emergency number 12pm, no other rooms available, was instructed to turn off main air-con switch which shut down all 3 air-cons. Was a pity as the room had the potential of being great if the maintenance had been up to scratch. Pool also needs rails to assist with getting in and out.

Amazing location right near Cowboys stadium and the city and walkable to Castle Hill. The days we stayed it looked like the aircon had leaked previously and the carpet in the bedroom was wet so was not an ideal smell but we opened the windows and didn't turn it on while we were there. Fine otherwise.

I would not hesitate in recommending this as a place to stay. The staff are fantastic and responsive, the location is very handy with some good dining options on site. I found the bed a little uncomfortable the first night and asked if a mattress topper could be fitted, this was done within a few hours. I will stay here again.

The property is in a perfect location and facilities are great for what we needed. Being nit picky could just do with a freshen up but otherwise a great place to stay. We will definitely be back.

Never stay at Holborn Central Townsville
Property Vine Holborn at Central, is probably the worst room that i have stayed worldwide. As a self contained apartment the draws, cutlery and cooking utensils were that old and rusted. Taps in the kitchen, and bathrooms leaked and all walls throughout the apartment were a disgrace, several lights did not work and dead insect were in most room. The couch and chairs were filled with crumbs and all ledges had dust and grime.

This was a good place to stay and super close to the football stadium. It was clean tidy and spacious. The bed however could have been much better. Not great when you hear and feel the springs when you move in bed.

The table and benches weren't entirely clean. There were multiple stains on things like the sliding door connection the bedroom and bathroom. The curtains were stained. The bed and sheets were clean though.

Overall ordinary accommodation. Walls covered in marks and stains, grubby showers, broken handles in bathrooms. Overall just very poorly maintained. Service is friendly and undercover parking is a bonus
