The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the privacy. You could hear people going to the toilet. I wouldn't let that stop me from staying here again though.

A great place to stay at Magnetic Island
We were at Magnetic Island for 5 days with a couple of diving days included. Island Leisure Resort was a great place for our stay, close to Nelly Bay and Jenny and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room had very comfortable QS and Single bed, kitchenette with microwave, full size fridge, hotplates, cooking utensils, kettle and toaster. We were also able to get a coffee plunger. The bathroom was large with a screen-less shower, plenty of towels and toilet paper supplied. A TV was mounted high up on the wall and there was a reverse cycle air-conditioner. A small outdoor area was nice for the afternoon sun. They don't service the rooms during your stay, which we prefer. The WiFi is free and works well. Getting there from the ferry, we walked with our bags but in hindsight we should have caught the bus or a taxi, an easy walk with no bags. Taxis are $15 to almost anywhere I think and the bus is an excellent way to get around the island. We bought a week's pass and used it every day. There was a pool and laundry, tennis court, and also a games room with table tennis and a small kiosk for any essentials you need. Foodland is a short walk up the road and there's a pharmacy and bottle shop there as well. Overall it was a comfortable and quiet place to stay and had everything we needed. We would stay again if we come back to Maggie.

The property was well maintained. Communication was very good with directions to bus and shops. Foodworks near by cheaper than IGA. Cafe /bakery. All you need for a nice stay on Magnetic Island

We highly recommend Island Leisure Resort. Great location, very friendly staff, clean spacious rooms and great facilities. Close to the beach, bus stop, cafes, Foodworks and IGA. IGA has more grocery items than Foodworks. We will be back!

Jenny who helps runs the property is just wonderful. Nothing is a problem, she will go out of her way to help you and make sure you are looked after. Just a really nice person, she needs to know how much good work she does.
