Staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were clean and comfortable but the rooms were in dire need of a handyman- there was a lot of rust on the front of the bar fridge, runners on the cupboard needed replacing so the doors were hard to open,there was peeling on the bathroom door and brownish old towel rack spots needing fixing and painting, and no extractor fan in the bathroom. There was too much furniture in the room so we were tripping over each other. It is a shame as an effort has clearly been made to upgrade the rooms but it was spoilt by this.

I was disappointed with the staff’s attitude as soon as we arrived. We had no TV as it was broken and they had no replacements. The property was generally very old and tired looking. Will not stay there again!

The room was dirty with visible damage on walls and fixtures were broken. The laundry facilities were broken. The general noise levels from surrounding rooms was extremely loud. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

Upon arrival, hoping to check in, we were greeted rudely by one of the receptionists (Tori). Who sternly told us it was too early to check in, when we were simply trying to pay and check our bags in. The hotel was run down, old soap in the canisters, no hair dryer and the air condition leaked. Dirty/mucky around all the tap and shower faucets and the walls had dozens of visible hole patches. We had a lovely receptionist check us out and Holly had called to ask when we were arriving but ultimately wouldn’t stay here again.

The room we stayed in was not clean. There was rubbish left in the bathroom and there was dust and fluff everywhere. The wooden window louvres were covered in mould. The staff came in and left 2 clean towels but left the other wet towels that were hung up were on the floor. Before we left our room for the day we pulled the sheets up and the staff that come in to makeover the room, didn’t bother to neaten up the room at all.

A Comfortable family stay

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, with comfy, clean beds and a decent bathroom. However, the rooms require replacement of blinds as they were unusable and broken, bathroom fixtures were loose, and the general state of the room needed sprucing up. The reception was helpful and allowed us to stay an extra hour after checkout.

Customer service was very poor had few issues with missunderstanding infomation provided over the phone. Spoke to one person asking to find out what was going on which she hung up on me 4x for rest of the day no one would answer the phones as i was trying to get through to a manager. The girls who were on duty did not smile once or engage into the conversations. The only person who was outstanding when on duty was Jake. consistently provided exceptional service by attentively listening to my concerns, responding with patience and resolving issues efficiently.
