Have stayed at this property a few times every year due to its close proximity to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. I find the standard of cleanliness and overall maintainence to be outstanding. Staff are very personable and caring to whatever my needs might be. My fave place to stay in northern Michigan.

Check your rooms for spacing, chairs too far from table, light switches on side tables too far away, suggesting you add a couple pool floats. Everything was very clean people were very friendly!! The night b4 we arrived we called, the man on the phone said all rooms were booked, we'd have to pick one to get a price? $170 lowest price? Hung up after bought a room on Travelocity $112 . May want to fix that. By the way, I doubt if they rented more than 5 rooms that night? This place has so much potential!! Just a few details and I would have called them PERFECT!!

Upon checking into the room, the sight hole for the door was filled with some sort of cloth or fabric. After informing the front desk, the room was changed for the room across the hall. The room across the hall’s window did not have a screen and was unlocked. The security of this property is lack, but the location is close the St Ambrose Cellar and Crystal Lake Resort.
