The property is well kept and very clean. Breakfast was adequate-the coffee was awesome. We would like to visit during a time there wasn't construction on the main street and next to the resort. Not the hotel's fault just something that took away from the experience.

It's a convenient location, clean and lovely property with a good reputation. It was also wonderful to have the beach "right there". The beach area is also clean, and the bay/lake is beautiful. My only issue is the inside/rooms need updating and modernizing. I've been coming to Michigan my entire life and the prices have skyrocketed. If they are going to charge such high prices, then I expect the hotel to be updated and modern.

Great option for Sleeping Bear Dunes trip
Bayshore Inn was in a convenient, safe, pretty location and was a good value! Nothing fancy and some of the common areas could use a decor refresh. But check-in was easy, room was clean and quiet, kids enjoyed the beach and the pool, easy drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes. No regrets about choosing this hotel!

We loved that everything is in walking distance. You can escape the busy summer crowds by enjoying time on the resorts private beach front. We had unfortunately gotten a room right next to loud ongoing construction next to the resort, but the friendly staff helped find us a room more comfortable and accommodating for us to enjoy. Will definitely recommend and plan on returning to!

The Breakers was a great choice for lodging. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The Club is a convenient option for dining. We enjoyed the waterfront fire pit in the evening.
