Fun trip
Our stay was okay! The hotel is dated, the black out curtain were dirty and aged, the bathroom, the toilet and sink were clean however the bath tub was in poor condition and under the security handle was black like mold! Photo to follow!
The bed was clean and comfortable!
Moved the chair and found it hadn’t been cleaned/vacuumed in a while! It was the little things that needed attention!
When we arrived had to go find the clerk, she was in the laundry room!

Dirty, shady characters, $25 pet fee
The property said online on Hotels.com it was Pet Friendly but nothing about an additional fee for staying with a pet but upon check in we were charged an additional $25.00 for traveling with our 18lbs 14-year old dog who sleeps in a cannel. This would have certainly made me reconsider my hotel option considering the facility was rather dirty and old, not well maintained. Shady characters for example; cops were there when we arrived because someone was trying to book a room with a stolen credit card. Wish we would have not stayed.
We were attracted to the property because it was not expensive, I guess, came down for a doctor appointment unexpectedly after surgery due to complications and it was cheap and last minute. With a dog.
This hotel is the definition of you get what you paid for. We initially booked this hotel because it had decent reviews and the pictures made it look nice but it was far from that. Our room looked dirty, we found a wash cloth hanging over the shower curtain rod that wasn’t ours so clearly, from the last guests that stayed in the room. The elevator was sketchy. The staff barely greeted you, if not at all. It’s unfortunate that this hotel is corporately owned yet seems so poorly cared for. We will not consider staying here again.
Jet tub was in poor condition, jets were dirty when running them. Cold breakfast, no waffle station like shown in Hotels app. Elevator panel held closed by packaging tape, with other brand new hotels popping up right next door, this hotel needs work to stay afloat.
