I was disappointed that there were areas on the walls that were spackled but not sanded or painted. The rug was frayed around the edges and could have been hidden by turning rug around under the bed. The poor Schefflera plant by the window was very dehydrated and almost dead - I cleaned it up and gave it 7 glasses of water to try to revive it. These are small things, but at the price of the room, attention to detail would be expected. On the other hand, the staff, their attention to detail and their care was outstanding!

Overall a great stay! The hotel was cozy and clean, with plenty of amenities from complimentary champagne upon check-in, to board games and hot cocoa by the fire in their lounge. We also enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, as well as the indoor pool and hot tub. The shuttle service to downtown was very convenient, as well. The only negative of our stay was that our shower never got hot. All of our showers throughout our 4-day stay were lukewarm at best.

I was in town on business and the hotel my company originally placed me in was awful. I ended up here as I’d had dinner in their Artisan Restaurant before. My visit was great! The staff was nice, the room was clean, and the restaurant was top notch. Definitely staying here from now on

I have been coming here for decades. Love the renovations over the years. It’s a great place but has increased rates too high for what you get. Charging additional money for simple amenities was not okay either. Thanks for the memories, won’t be back.
