Very nice hotel. Lots of character. Restaurant and bar close a little early and service was slow but really a beautiful place. Not much outside the hotel. Homeless guy panhandled us in the parking lot.

Elegant and comfortable
Quick visit with my college student, and Iwish I could have stayed longer. A truly beautiful hotel, and it was already decorated for Christmas, which made it even lovelier! The room was spacious in the bathroom was huge. I loved the separate bathtub... Could have soaked in there for hours! The beds were very comfortable, and the room was spotless. The attached Wellington restaurant had delicious food at reasonable prices.

Comfy and Historic
Always a comfy and unique historical experience at this hotel. Have stayed a few times and will stay again! The bar at the restaurant downstairs has the most extensive whisky/scotch menu of anywhere I've been, it's awesome.

This hotel is like no other. It is very historic and beautiful. It is very modern, yet has maintained its historic feel. Quite unique and always our choice of stay. It is right across from ETSU and we can walk to the volleyball games!
