We got to our room earlier than planned and staff allowed us to check in. The room was very clean, and we had a great view of the river. Staff was over the top friendly and lots of ideas on where to shop and/or eat. A very nice and relaxing time and a great place to stay. Tony H

I am only giving 5 stars because it probably affects bonuses and people don't deserve to miss out on recognition when a challenge is not their fault. Super old building, but renovations happening. I didn't find out about the construction until AFTER I completed the booking, but happy it wasn't an issue. Got a two queen room with a river view, but couldn't get a decent pic because of the double-paned glass with condensation between the layers. Breakfast was on par with free. The gravy provided my sodium intake for the year. The room was ok, but the one blanket on my bed was like sandpaper. I hope they update the bedding because that wasn't enjoyable. Staff were super nice. Especially the woman who assisted with breakfast. I thought she was exceptional and accommodating when I asked for some extra creamers for my room. All in all it was a great stay. Obviously there are some issues being addressed which will make this location perfect.
Two queen river view room. Only needed one bed, but grabbed 7 pillows.

We love this place. It’s clean and has great staff, good place to walk your dog. It is quite great the way it is but it has been sold so it may lose its charm.. I hope it doesn’t become a sterile, stuffy, expensive place. Its quirkiness is what we love.

The staff was courteous and the room appeared and smelled clean. There was some liquid foundation spilled on the wall in the vanity area. The lobby and hallways smelled nice, the room smelled like bleach or cleaner, which is good, but would be nice if it smelled nice also.

The manager from the start seemed rude but I overlooked it, because what's the use? It's a waste of time to try to reason with those that lack the very essence.. , but I digress.. I rented a room for 2 but had 2 children with us that were ages 6 and 12. Didn't mention them because their VERY policies page said that 2 children so anyway, that manager was quick two deduct the nightly fee for those t lil children and charged me out of my deposit..

I have stayed at the Clover Island Inn 3 times now over the years its just a unique place down by the river with water on 3 sides of you, Previous times I at at the restaurant which was really good, but this time the restaurant & half the hotel were under construction undergoing a remodel. But its always been great place for me and had everything I have needed. Will stay again on my next visit !
