It wasn't anything on the list above. Check in was good the people seemed to be very nice at check in. However when we went to check out, and I realize there was a tropical storm that went through. but that was a few days earlier. Like I said when we went to check out, the elevators didn't work. I asked the guy at the front desk and he said that couldn't get it fixed because of the storm. My suspicion was he didn't want to pay a weekend rate to an elevator repairman to come fix it until a week day. Which is just absolutely giving no consideration to the customers. The ice machine was not working the whole time we were there. The price was way too much for the antiquated place. Won't be staying at this place again.

As soon as I came in I checked for bed bugs like I usually do when I stay at hotels. I didn’t find any but I found a lot of specks like maybe dead ones. There was makeup and hair all over the pillows and looked like dirt in the bed. There was a dirty foot print in the bath. There was an open soap left that was never used. I got a room with the jacuzzi and the jets didn’t even work. Then there was a hole in the floor by it and I stepped on it and I wire stabbed my foot. Needless to say it looks clean when you aren’t looking for it but that’s no excuse.

Hotel Manager Heather Morgan cancelled the reservation the afternoon of check in for guests extending their stay. Heather was not available to speak with, and the staff were absolutely not accommodating to help with alternative accommodations. Horrible customer service.

Not a fan. Staff was not very welcoming. They weren’t mean at all, just very indifferent. Entire place could have been much cleaner. Halls and room had an odor that was unpleasant. There were a number of men between the ages of 25-45 just hanging around everywhere, including outside our door on the 3rd floor, that made me feel unsafe and uncomfortable (not the hotel’s fault, but I hardly slept due to this feeling). It may have been workers helping with relief efforts in Erwin, but if my husband weren’t with me, I’d have returned to the desk to ask for a first floor room. I was cat-called at while both my husband and I walked to our rooms, which was pretty bold of them. Very few amenities in the room. We had 3 containers of shampoo and a couple soap bars, and that was it. No conditioner or lotion. We gathered up to leave in the morning and I went to the breakfast area at 8:40 to get a piece of fruit, and it was already closed. Area itself in Jonesborough was safe and pleasant. You could walk down a short road to the back and find yourself on the cutest Main Street with a lot of shops and history to enjoy. The town opens late (10-11am for most businesses) and closes early, so plan accordingly.

The property is okay, a little overpriced. The most annoying part is daily breakfast that last from like 6:30-8:30. Seriously, how about we make just for a half an hour instead haha😂😂. Seems simply lazy! Customer Service has went to crap sense COVID.

Hotel was terrible to say the least. The hotel room smelt, the shower looked like it had never been washed, our carpet was ripped, our tv didn’t work. There was a second entrance to the hotel and that door doesn’t lock so we felt very unsafe. Would not recommend, pay extra for a nice hotel.

Quiet and convenient
This hotel was very quiet. That’s my biggest concern when booking a hotel. It was situated within walking distance to the quaint Jonesborough downtown. This hotel isn’t luxurious but the indoor pool was perfect for our children and as previously mentioned it was super quiet.

We were in Jonesborough for my brothers funeral, and had to make all the funeral arrangement's after we arrived. Seeing as he was being buried at the National Cemetery it was going to delay the service for 4 days. We had a 6 day stay and there is no complaints, except the bed was not the most comfortable. Otherwise it was a perfect stay from location to staff, cleanliness, breakfast, the swimming pool, accessibility, parking and etc..etc…etc! The staff were so kind to us regarding our circumstances for staying there and frequently asked if there was anything they could do to help us. While my brother is no longer there we will be back to explore the area and be near Bristol Speedway.

Got stuck in the elevator for half an hour while the night shift clerk tried to get the door unstuck and openly admitted that this wasn’t the first it has happened apparently and with my husband being on a knee scooter from a surgery the elevator is important so he eventually got the elevator door unstuck but we still had to climb the stairs to the third floor and that not any good having a disabled person with you other than that it was a good stay and parking situation was a bit scarce more handicapped spots and maybe parking passes cause the hotel was fully booked and nowhere to park about 8:30 at night up till 5 am
