Has upscale veneer. But nothing works. Premium room wasn’t. Broken tiles & peeled wallpapers. Days staff was rude & unhelpful. Only good thing was night clerks was super nice. 1980’s fixtures. No bedspread. Cheap towels. They or Expedia screwed up & dropped a night. So we had to pay extra & move rooms. NO USB ports, like hey, it’s 2024! No stopper in bathtub. Sliding door & screen didn’t work. Beds are horrible. Pool closed. We stayed at Quality inn early in the week. Much better value & updated functional rooms!

The person who checked us in was rude. We booked an executive suite hoping it would be nicer than a standard room but it wasn't. It smelled like musty cigarette smoke with a bunch of cleaning products poured on top. The room wasn't very clean, there was a crack in the ceiling in the bedroom, the AC in the main room squealed when it would kick on and the one in the bedroom wouldn't ever turn off and the buttons were broken on it so we were stuck with it on all night. Then when we went to check out, there wasn't anyone at the counter to help us. I've stayed in other Red Lion Hotels but this one was by far the worst.

The staff were friendly and the room comfortable. My room had no USB ports, however, or bed accessible outlets—at least none that I could find. The hotel was close to amenities and the Columbia River.

The room smelled like it has been a smoking type room so I called front desk trying to change rooms and the lady wasn’t happy about it and kind of dry with her answers, at the end she ended up sending some kind of machine to help with the cigarette smell. Not really help so it was very bad sleeping there. Bathroom look like it had mold didn’t really look clean. Carpet super super dirty and all the furniture is very old and some are broken
