Hotel is good, restaurant is disappointing.

Hotel and service was great, we had dinner in the restaurant which was nice and had flavour but for what it cost the size was disappointing, the starter was small and the steak came with exactly 6 chips.

Let me start by saying the staff were excellent. Having been at the hotel this time 10 years ago not much has changed meaning the hotel needs a serious refurb... We were a party of 20 for a notable Anniversary and we booked a package Room B&B and evening meal... Service for the meal was an absolute disaster with the guests of honour being severed last. They thought feeding the teenagers first was the way forward. The food itself was mediocre at best..and to be honest it wasnt cheap...Even at breakfast it was unorganized chaos with a line to get in despite free tables.. the food at breakfast was mixed..scrambled eggs were bland beyond belief.... sausages were FAB! I say without fear of contradiction it will be considerably more that 10 years before we return.

Great Spa/Food break

Lovely stay at the Knightsbrook. The Spa was extremely accommodating, I'm near the end of my 3rd trimester and was able to switch out one of the treatments to suit better, Laura is brilliant, she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I was pleasantly surprised in the Rococo restaurant. As a vegan I did not have high hopes that there'd be options for me but I managed to get dessert and all! Staff in all areas of the hotel are very attentive and pleasant.
