Our stay completely exceeded my expectations. The location couldn’t be more convenient—it’s literally a two-minute drive from the airport, which makes arriving and departing stress-free. Once you’re inside, though, you’d never guess you were that close to the runway because the hotel opens up to stunning ocean and fjord views that feel straight out of a postcard. The whole place has this cool, contemporary design with a unique, funky vibe that makes it stand out from more traditional hotels. The murals and creative touches throughout the space give it tons of personality, and the social/breakfast sitting areas are just perfect for hanging out or just enjoying a drink with a view. A lovely surprise was a great selection of fun board games - really enjoyed them on rainier evenings. I also have to give a special shoutout to the Moxy Burger—it was hands down the best burger I’ve ever tried. The room was spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. Everything felt fresh and modern, but still cozy enough that you could really settle in. Between the vibe, the artwork and the unbeatable location Moxy Tromsø is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re on a little adventure even when you’re just sitting in the lobby. I’d happily stay here again.

Welcoming staff. Very convenient location to airport and downtown. We could walk from airport after dropping off rental car. In same parking lot as grocery store. Taxis available for quick ride to downtown. Welcome drink was nice. View was awesome. Breakfast was great with lots of options and delicious coffee. Only downside was lack of towels in bathroom and you had to pay for parking at the hotel.

Perfect for airport!

We enjoyed our stay here at Moxy. We wanted to be close to the airport for an early flight but also with easy connections to the city. There were plenty of buses into town only a short walk away, using the underpass to the main bus area or the number 28 route from just across the road, all running early to late. The room was of a good size and very comfortable, ideal for our 2 night stopover. A must is time in the bar/breakfast area with great views over both airport and the mountains behind (fab sunsets!). We stayed on the airport side but I didn't find it noisy. Breakfast was good, quite varied but perhaps quality could be better (but it was aligned to price so it was fair).

The hotel is amazing! The staff members were too busy doing the lobby and the bar. They were not very friendly and welcoming. It did not feel like a lobby. I feel like they have to separate those two services. The view from the hotel rooms and the restaurant/lobby was breathtaking! Public transportation from the hotel is also very accessible.

Great location at the airport. Amazing view from top floor reception. Great fitness center. $25 taxi from downtown. COOP grocery store is easy walking distance next door. Would stay here again.
