Not great, very average stay!

Friendly staff, good breakfast and that's where it kind of ended for us. Our room was located on the 2nd floor on the road side and it was super noisy. The windows are not even double glazed which means you can hear everything coming from the street level. In addition, the room noise insulation is very poor, we could hear all sorts of noises coming from other rooms. You can tell that it's an older hotel they tried to revamp but they didn't do a great job. Regarding the cleanliness of the room, it was quite poor too. The sink was not draining well so we would find yellow water that had returned from the almost blocked pipes, every morning. Additionally, the floor had not been moped for a long time since there were layers of dust under the desk and other areas of the room. Overall, for £230 a night we were very disappointed by the state of the double room we stayed at.

Not once did anyone ask me how my stay went, and the internet TV didn’t work. I notified two staff persons of this. One said “check in with us tomorrow” and so I did. The second affiliate was kind enough to come up to my room to troubleshoot but upon concluding the port was broken, “they’d send a technician.” I never heard anything about it again. This hotel was very expensive for such poor service. It would be advisable to spend just a bit more at a more reputable brand such as Radisson.

The staff was friendly and very helpful, especially when we attempted to speak Norwegian. The complimentary breakfast was amazing, with a variety of different food items and drinks to choose from. No complaints. This place is excellent!

First trip to Tromso, great breakfast and good food staff, cleaning staff weren’t. We were missed in our clean one day and no towels were replaced on another, this was an inconvenience and a disappointment given the high cost to stay here. Unfortunately we will not return.

We got to the property at around 3:30 and the room was not ready yet. We waited in a lounge room that has games and free coffee. The property does not have parking, so you have to use public parking about 30.00 USD a day. The breakfast was so crowded we did not stay. The shower was very small, kept hitting the glass doors. The room was spacious, I never found the TV remote. And the room was clean. There are two elevators, if you are bringing many bags use the second one not the first one by the stairs that is very small. Hotel is close to many stores and shops. It was quiet not noisy at all.

Great location in central Tromso. Fantastic breakfast including a great choice of gluten free items. Lovely lounge area with free coffee, great as a spot to chill out after room check out or while waiting for transport. Room was very comfortable and cosy. Lovely modern bathroom with a nice selection of complimentary toiletries. Only criticism of our stay is that the shower was not very powerful and the water temperature was too cool for our liking, other than that everything was great.

The hotel is in a great location, easily walkable to everything Tromso has to offer. Our room overlooked the main stretch but it was still very quiet. Heated floor in the bathroom was a big plus. Breakfast was plentiful. Would stay here again.
