I paid for a studio but was upgraded to a one bedroom at check-in. I received a complimentary drink while I was being checked in and I really needed that as I was exhausted. The staff was awesome, they were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the same daily, this needs to be improved on, they should have a wider selection. Overall, I had a good time.

Room was clean albeit a bit run down - discoloured grouting, loose toilet seat, etc. Very dim lighting in the room which made the room seem a bit rough round the edges. Pool area is nice and always a couple of sunbeds free. Complimentary water activities on the beach were good. Breakfast was ok, basic.

Great Value for the price! We liked the free water activities - kayaking, glass bottom ride and standup paddle. Staff was helpful and friendly. Only complaint is when you shower water flows out, not a good design. Good restaurant and pool. Liked the free beach towels facility. They also provided us with a temporary room to shower after a day in beach since we had late flight out.

So good that I booked another stay!
A local friend recommended this hotel and I decided to book after reading the reviews. Staff always had a smile on their face, room was clean and comfortable, food was good, and complimentary watersports were pretty cool. I'm definitely going back!

A slow walk to the beach is 10 minutes, normally 5
A slow walk to the beach was around 7 to 8 minutes. The beach would have been worth a half hour walk, it was amazing! There are two bars pool side, not too keen on the one with the swim up bar, but, the hotel bar, a few further feet away was brilliant! The two separate hotel restaurants were ok, but, within 200 yards of the hotel were 4 of the best places to eat in the world!

It is very close to the beach and the free water sport activities are great. Breakfast and dinner are recommended. Especially the dinner is great as it is no buffet but a set 3 course dinner. The beach ist wonderful there. Some sun beds were broken but there have been enough for everybody. The bed in the room should be replaced as you could not turn around without any noise.

It is the fourth time we go there. It is a great place when you can't afford 4 or 5 star hotels but want to be comfortable and in a clean place by the sea. It is located opposite the public beach. It is well equipped if you are choosing the self-catering option. It offers some free activities such as glass-bottom boat and snorkeling.

All Staff are very helpfull. I would like to mention Mrs Ingrid from the frontdesk. Had a great stay and enjoyed in Mauritius. One comment I would to make is regarding the internet. WFI connection in the room is very bad even many times around the swimmingpool.

Ants everywhere!
Pictures are so deceiving from what they advertised. Pool is tiny. And hard to find service to get a drink while in the pool. You have to leave the pool area and walk wet to the bar and wait for the drink as he doesnt come to serve you the drink! Room is disgusting. Ants crawling everywhere and the bed also. Mosqitos and bugs also sharing the room. Had to spray the room daily. Wanted to get a refund but not refundable. So couldnt afford to get another hotel. Wife was not pleased at all. Bed had dirty stained and the bed sheets themselves. Hotel Food was ok except for the last night where we had the curry and ended up with food poison. Nearby shops was so extortion and had to walk 10mins to find a decent price shop. Toilets are clean which was a bonus and the beach is very close by which is also a plus! Would never return even if they offered it for free. Please spray your rooms!

Great stay except for the internet
Always excellent, great area and beach is around 100m away, the hotel has everything you would need and shops and other restaurants are a short walk away. Everything would be perfect except they need to sort the internet out, this is the 21st century when everyone from your child to your granny is on line posting photos or watching movies, if hotels and Air B&Bs down the road can have fast internet then so can they, sometimes you can't even open an email for the whole day, if that was sorted then it would be perfect.

lovely modern hotel just 2 mins from beach. very quiet in evening with only a few restaurants in the area all shutting at a round 10pm. grand bay is a 20 min drive away or £12 in a taxi

Really Good Apartment
We only stayed for one night as part of a driving holiday around Mauritius but we would have happily stayed longer if we'd had time. We approached from the side of the hotel and went straight to the car park which is quite a way from reception. Check-in was a bit slow but friendly. The apartment has an excellent range of facilities, there were lots of electricity sockets and a comfortable bed. The complimentary water sports were great - glass bottomed boat, snorkelling, stand up paddleboard and, I think, even waterskiing and paragliding. There are lots of restaurants in the area and the beach is just a couple of minutes walk away. The strength of the wifi varied quite a bit.

We stayed at Be cozy in Sep 2017. The hotel it self is very clean and has a nice pool and bar area. The room looks great and also very clean however they seem to have an ant problem. You cannot leave any food items out or in the mirco wave because the ants will get to it in minutes. The bathroom is good with an awesome shower,one of the best I've been in. Our room overlooked the pool area and was a great place to chill. The Wifi was bad, it disconnects often and the signal on the room is not great, I told them about the Wifi issues but they said it's for the lobby only. The main things that bring this place down a bit is Wifi and entertainment. In the week we were there the had no entertainment at all, they have a great pool area which is perfect for some sort of entertainment it would really make this place great. Since it is not on the beach entertainment is needed here. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Enjoyable stay
Good size room with comfortable bed. Handy to have microwave, kettle and fridge in studio. I was on the ground floor with a small balcony outside. Wifi was variable sometimes fine but at other times not good. TV in English very limited! Loved the free beach activities offered by the hotel and the fact that there was the chance to go snorkelling twice a day. The resort isn't on the beach but a very short walk from it. The location is quiet so it isn't for people who like to party! There is a small swimming pool which is nice for children. The local buses pass right by the hotel and it is possible to go to Grande Baie and the botanical gardens by bus.(I got a bus at 9.20 am) The resort isn't luxurious but if you are on a budget and want a clean place to stay with some amenities then it is decent place. I only ate one meal at the hotel so can't really comment on the food.

Snorkel in Mauritius
My wife wanted to have her feet in the water and I wanted to snorkel. Snorkeling was great, shallow safe and easy. Even the unfit can even swim in from the beach. There are about 10 affordable restaurants and street vendors within walking distance with excellent local food. Good supermarket, ATM close by. The apartment was an absolute pleasure. All our surprise were good ones like free glass bottom trips. One can easily drive yourself as the roads are good as are the drivers. We even used the local bus service and found it quick and efficient. They could add a spatula to flip eggs, a knife sharp enough to cut tomato and a tin opener.
