Located on the original Rt 66, the Tristar Inn is a diamond in the rough, full of nostalgic charm. The owner, Mike, was great & got us checked in quickly. We spent a couple hours in the very well stocked hotel bar (with a pool table) where we enjoyed a few beers & pizza before turning in. Our room was very clean, spacious & comfortable with everything we needed. Fun to think we’re now a part of this cool hotels new history. We’ll be sure to stop again on our next trip through.

You get what you pay for!!

Previous reviews were really good is why we chose this overnight stay. This is close to the worst place i have stayed in. We were told the room had been recently renovated. It had super old and dirty furniture (I did not want to set anything on them). Had some bugs (not bed bugs) and a few mosquitoes i our room. The shower looked recently done but did not drain. If we weren't so tired I think we would have looked elsewhere. Ya get what ya pay for as the price was the best thing going for this place.

Route 66

Traveling cross country and wanted to stay on Route 66. Cute hotel it is older, but clean!! Love the table in our room since we brought dinner back to the room. Has a full bar, but not a restaurant-there are several options close. Laundry and ice are convenient. Mike was very welcoming.

This was an older Route 66 motel, but updated rooms and very clean! We liked that it was on Route 66 and not one of the big hotel groups. It was charming and perfect for our needs. The attached bar area looked so inviting, but we were tired from a long day of driving so didn’t actually sit down for a relaxing drink. Owner was so very pleasant and kind. This will be our new go to place when traveling.
