We had a wonderful 2-night stay at The Dylan Hotel in Dublin! The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making our stay feel special from the moment we arrived. Having our rental car valet parked was incredibly convenient and made exploring the city completely stress-free. The location was also excellent, within walking distance of many of Dublin’s attractions, restaurants, and shops. The combination of outstanding service, convenience, and a great location made this hotel a fantastic choice for our trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend The Dylan to anyone visiting Dublin!

Basic accommodation was expected, but unreliable Wi-Fi was not I booked knowing it was budget accommodation, so I was perfectly happy with a no-frills place to sleep. However, one thing I was relying on was the advertised Wi-Fi, as I was travelling internationally and needed internet access. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was unreliable throughout my stay. I want to give credit to the gentleman who came twice to try to fix it. He genuinely made an effort, and I appreciated his help. Although the Wi-Fi worked briefly after his attempts, it stopped working again. I contacted Expedia requesting a refund so I could find somewhere with reliable internet, but the property told Expedia the Wi-Fi was working, and I was unable to get a refund. I stayed because I had already paid and didn't want to pay for another accommodation. The room was also chilly, with only a sheet on the bed for cover, which made the night uncomfortable. I can overlook a lot when booking budget accommodation. I don't expect luxury, but I do expect advertised amenities to work and basic comforts to be provided. The most disappointing part wasn't that something went wrong. It was that I was left without a satisfactory solution when it did.

We fly in/out of Dublin several times a year. We like this property because although it is only about 10-15 mins from the airport, it feels like you are really in the country. So there is not that cramped and hassled feeling with so many of the airport hotels near DUB - tight parking, shuttle buses, airport noise etc. Roganstown Country House Hotel feels a bit like a respite. That being said, they could invest a little in the interior of the hotel. While our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom had a signs of mold, and there were no shampoo/conditioner/soap etc. except for the one soap dispenser in the shower. It is so nice that so many hotels are now installing the shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the showers and it would be great to see that here too. Fish and chips in the bar/restaurant was quite good; burger was ok. We'll stay there again most likely just for the space and feeling of being in the country.

Room was clean and warm, just a little cramped, especially the bathroom, compared to other places I have stayed. Breakfast was varied and self service, so you could eat as much or as little as you wanted. I only stayed one night.

Liked the variety at breakfast.
