It was very cold in the main lobby are and where you eat breakfast. It was under construction and we had no idea. The parking area was not taken care of for snow removal. You were walking in snow and trying not to bust your butt.

During our two-day stay, we had a number of issues. The shower was dirty. There was no shampoo or conditioner available to us. They said they were waiting on a shipment. There was no hot water in the sink and the shower only had lukewarm water. We were not given towels or wash cloths on day two. Someone else was given our room by mistake, so those people were trying to get into our room for several minutes, which scared my daughter. This also caused our keys to stop working.

Our room heat wasn’t working that was unable to be fixed asked to move to a different room after hour of waiting got the call to switch rooms the room the moved us to another guest was staying in. When bought to manger she yelled at me and asked like I dumb told me she was going to cancel my room and told me I had to leave. Wouldn’t listen to me about what was going. Was told it was canceled and we going to get a refund when I called my card it was never canceled took days time this figured out Was treated very very poorly.

If cleanliness is one of your top priorities….DO NOT STAY HERE!! Room “appeared clean”. Not only was there hair in the sink and dirty soap, used towels, and a coffee cup, the bed looked slept in. Pulled back the cover and the fitted sheet was definitely stained. I’m a huge Embassy fan, but when the staff knows they have an issue, but are unable to accommodate the lack of cleaning their staff did, sorry……not cool. It’s an older 40 year old property and they are trying to renovate little by little. Sadly as they renovate they’ve not made sure everything that’s new is working…..not to mention keeping it clean. Embassy…..so much money spent on your renovation. Hire staff that knows how to make things right. You’ll be renovating again in two years at this rate.

The property was nice, what I didn't like was the cleaning staff that refused to clean the tub and the face sink upon our arrival, I told the front staff, in which they reported it to the cleaning staff but they refused to clean it, for 2 days they refused. My husband and myself couldn't take a shower nor bath. I should get confiscated more than points. And the cleaning staff should be fired, my room was 914, I'll think twice before staying again, also referring anyone.😐

I love Embassy Suites and it usually is outstanding but it was terrible. No heat in room, did not freshen up rooms daily, rooms not ready at checkin, key card readers did not work… terrible

The hot tub was over one foot low and was COLD! There were no towels in the pool area for over an hour. The pool was cloudy and colder than usual (very cold night -- but the hot tub wasn't heating -- something broken). The staff are wonderfully kind and accommodating. The evening reception food is great. Roasted carrots and mushrooms, cheese, pita wedges and hummus, nuts, granola, punch, and other snacks. The breakfast is excellent! Renovations are continuing. But there are signs of neglect, such as construction dust on the railing aound the 2nd floor balcony, an open vent with no grill in our room, and only one of the three lights in the bedroom worked. There is NO musty mold here, which is great for us with allergies and asthma. We wish the room windows opened for fresh air (they don't open). But the rooms are clean, with comfortable beds and new furnishings. We were able to use HDMI to play our son's video game on the big screen with comfortable seating in the living room area. The mini-fridge, microwave, and sink in the dining area are great. This hotel has a lot going for it, and we hope they do complete the renovation and fix their maintenance issues (vent grills, make sure all lights work, hot tub working, etc.). Note that cell phone tower components have been added to the corners of the roof recently, close to the upper rooms. If you are sensitive to cell phone microwave radiation or radio frequency emissions you will probably NOT want to be on an upper floor.

We got there late at 11 pm and had already paid for our room and they told us they had over sold the rooms and we had to wait until after midnight until they got one cleaned for us. Two different people told me they were going to comp our room for the night. We get to our room the ac doesn’t work it was so hot in there but they had already given all the fans out. We didn’t have a refrigerator so the food I brought with us was ruined and our tv didn’t work the entire trip. After we checked out I looked at our receipt and I was charged for the room and I called to speak to a manager twice about it and no one ever called me back. Horrible will never stay there again

The property is under going renovations. There was a lot of noise and a lot of smells. A few minutes after checking in, I heard a knock on the door, followed by a bang. Luckily, I had the safety latch on. I was undressing. When I went to the door to see who it was. A man claiming to be engineering said he needed to check the smoke detectors. I said, “no.” He responded “we have to.” I told him to come back with a woman, as I was uncomfortable. He was an accompanied by another man. I called the front desk and explained the situation, the woman apologized and said she would send someone up with them. No one ever came back to check the smoke detectors that they so urgently needed to gain entry to my room for. I have never, in all my years of staying in hotels all over the world, had someone from engineering attempt to gain access to my room to check the smoke detectors. I did not sleep at all. I placed a chair against the door. I checked out first thing in the morning. Luckily I was only scheduled to stay there one night. I moved to another hotel for the rest of my stay.
