Where to start…when we arrived we couldn’t find anyone on the property to let us into our room. It was a ghost town. Didn’t appear that anyone else was staying in the other units. We found someone who took us to our room. We were to have a private splash pool. We were told that was only in executive suites despite the fact we saw several on the way to our room. We were taken to room with a pool and someone was cleaning it but it was never filled. Property rep says we never asked for it to be filled…? There wasn’t a hairdryer as listing said. When I asked for one I received no response. The washing machine didn’t work. When we mentioned it the response was … it doesn’t work. No coffee maker and a kettle that smelled like mold. My friend couldn’t find his jacket and wanted to look in first room for it. He was told it wasn’t there. It had his car key fobs in it so it was important. We went to that room and knocked . No one there and door was unlocked so he went in to see if coat was there. We were going to beach and my friend stopped at supply cupboard which was unlocked to get a towel to take. I received a nasty message about those two incidents. Then on our return to property was confronted by angry property rep asking if we took her bike??!! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing!! To call this place “executive suites” is a real stretch. It may have been at one time but certainly not now. Loved Tulum but our trip was not as relaxing as it should have been.
