Great spot to stay!

We stopped here on the way to Wellington which was such a good idea. Arrived reasonably late but our key was left in the box with clear instructions. Room was lovely, great kitchen options and comfy bed. Was lovely being greeted by a Motel cat too. Will stay again!

The property was fine, but for the price it was pretty low standard compared to comparable properties. The staff was lovely. In the room the chairs were stained and the carpet should not be there. Amazing!

Amazing. Love that there is an upstairs. So many bedrooms, so many bathrooms, so many opportunities for privacy. Apartment was very spacious. Kitchen had everything. Plus, the washer was a big plus. Getting in and out is a bit tricky though, especially if the unit is away from the street. There are certain spots/alleyways where you can drive through and get to the back. However, if you're not familiar with these, you may be puzzling over how to get around the cars parked around the units facing the street. Reception also has weird hours. If you arrive outside of reception hours, you will get an email detailing how to get your key. It is really simple though. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Not too much in the town of Turangi but probably more than the village of National Park. Plus, very quick access to the Tongariro Alpine crossing.

Pool was a nice touch, but we arrived late so too chilly to go in. There didn’t seem to be any nice hikes- there was a “ walk along the river” but this was really just a place to crash enroute to other things. Room was really big- with a bed from Upstairs and a pull- out couch downstairs. All the dishes and pots we needed. :). Nice place.

Broken bed and broken couch, bed mattress felt busted, could feel the springs in the mattress. Couch appears to also be broken, upon leaning back into it your back lands flat into a wooden panel that's covered by the couches fabric - ouch. There's a random table at the bottom of the stairwell that obstructs movement / makes it a big trip hazard. I had probably the worse sleep in a very long time staying here, the rooms were cool but the bed was awful. The window faces the Highway / appears to have been stuck slightly wedged open despite the handle showing as closed - so all night I hear car traffic Feeling super grumpy while writing this because I haven't had any sleep in now 2 days, and this place was meant to be the place to go to get a full nights sleep

This is a big complex but out of peak season was quiet. It proved an excellent choice for access to national park and Lake Taupo. Our room was large and had everything we needed including all kitchen facilities. The convenient and inexpensive laundry room was particularly appreciated after several weeks of touring.
