The desk manager was rude and yelled at a guest, and overcharged for the room, and charged a $100 deposit that was not listed or discussed until they charged the room on my card.. There was no mention that they were remodeling and walkways were taped off, and workers were making noise ourside early morning.

Rude staff - overcharged 2 extra times and do nothing but tell you that they’ve “never had this problem before…!” Well, then why is there two charges gone from my account PLUS you charged me on site again because.. quote “our records aren’t showing” but I have literally shown you where you have taken two charges! Your only resolution is to tell me to refresh my screen(browser) and then threaten me???? NEVER USE THIS PLACE - THEY ARE USELESS AND RUDE, UNACCOMODATING AND TERRIBLE. I would give them a negative review if I could- you don’t deserve one single star. And now, to date, I am still wait g for these two “pending “ charges to drop from my account, guess I’ll be ringing the motel again.

Twain Harte visit.
Motel is typical of homes in the area. Old,rickety but quaint. Owner is very friendly. Room has all amenities such as microwave, Krueger coffee maker and frig as well as TV. Bathroom has very dirty rug and cabinet drawers dirty. But rest of room is clean and was sufficient for my 1 nite stay. Price was good. Overall i would stay again.

We checked in and were put in room 3. It was not acceptable so we asked front desk for a different room. They were polite and quickly gave us a new room which was more acceptable. The place is a bit old and run down but all in all it served its purpose for the price. Twain Harte is a cool little town, make a visit to Pinecrest Lake if you’re looking for some fun.

Welcoming staff but the property has not be upgraded since built in the 60's. The bedsprings were severed so my husband slept in a mattress bowl. Handprints on the doors, grime and just very dirty. I am disappointed but it happens.
