I ended up choosing not to stay there. There were maybe 8 cars in the parking lot. I arrived at 3pm, was told my room was ready but that I would be charged $50 to check in any earlier than 4pm. There was no music playing in the lobby, no one walking about the property....it was a very bizarre atmosphere.

The pool is a little far from the building so if the weather is not good, you're definitely not going to use the pool.

First of all, not sure this reopening was so grand. The room was still showing signs of age, think bathroom. My dog which they charged 150$ for, immediately found food on the floor, chocolate chips I grabbed out of his mouth. My son and daughter in law met me @ Pino for dinner. There was one other table of 2 in the restaurant....357$ later for super slow service, decent food but not WOW!So folks, 600$ for one night in Tygnsboro NH....

I spent an overnight at Chateau Merrimack with my daughter for her birthday and it was great. Dinner at Pino was amazing, and the spa treatments at Ju Ju were a real treat. Having everything on one property made it so easy and special!

I’ve stayed at countless hotels and never had them take a photocopy of my license and my credit card with security code. Maybe I’m over thinking it but I was really bothered by the photocopy and the fact that the employee walked into a different room with my id & credit card without saying what she was doing. As I booked through Expedia I wouldn’t think non payment would be a concern. The elevator was down but it wasn’t too much of an issue as I only had one bag.

Just my hubby and me for a quick overnight stay since we have just moved and he had a doctors appointment. We had stayed there several years ago when it was under another name. We thought we’d try it. Seems like the decor was out of the 50’s. And well worn.

This property was beautiful, full of character and charm! The woodwork is lovely. Quiet resort full of beauty. Only things that needed worked on here were the moisture issue in the room with humidity level too high on the ac and in the bathroom with no fan. Cute little yellow sofa in room is dirty on arms. The rooms are very large though and just full of so much charm! Lighting needs improved as well. We didn’t eat at the restaurant on site but it looked very nice. Highly recommend this property though.

We were not informed that the elevator was broken before getting there and have some health related issues limiting stair use. The room was very cold also because they said they don’t have heat at the moment, again we were not informed. The pool was very nice though.

The indoor pool is not connected to the building with the hotel rooms. You have to be in outside and find it in the woods. I would never walk around there at night . Anyone can get into the indoor pool even though it’s “controlled access” with a hotel key. The pool water itself is clean- the rest of the busking is disgusting. The couch in the hotel room was stained and I wouldn’t sit on it . The elevator was broken. The girl at the front desk gave me keys to the room even though it wasn’t ready. There were hairs in our bed on the clean sheets” the landscaping hasn’t been touched in years. I will never come back here. Don’t let the pictures deceive you- they must be very old pictures.
