I have stayed there 4 days. It started with great experience and breakfasts were so delicious. Facilities were also comfortable. In terms of room, our first room was a huge with good amenities, but one thing our room toilet was blocked. That was weird. Good thing is that they changed our room finally. I would like to recommend you guys that hotel is centrel located, cheap, affordable price in Ubud.
The hotel is very nice with a cute indoor patio with a pool. Birds are singing. Breakfast is really good and personel was very attentive. Always, willing to assist you.
We also had the best massages at the spa next door. Do not waste your money somewhere else.
The only problem was the music from a nearby bar. They would play until 11-30pm.
Aircon wasnt working, toilet wouldnt stop running limitrd water pressure. We eventally got moved to another cheaper room. No breakfast couldnt even get ice. Disappointed. 2nd room had an old feral looking toilet.
We stayed there for 3 nights this time. We've had more positive experiences in the past. This is the lowest rating I ever gave this hotel. We checked in and the Internet wasn't working in the rooms, only the lobby. It never worked in the room so we had to sit in the lobby where we were eaten by mosquitoes. The water cut out so many times. It happened a couple of times while we were taking showers. Once, the electricity cut off too but that was during a rain storm. The pool is in the shade so the water stays pretty cold. Breakfast is at the cafe next door and is excellent compared to other hotels in the area. This hotel is very conveniently located.
I booked 8 rooms for my family with the request to have the rooms close to each other. But upon checked-in, was allocated the rooms on different levels at all 4 buildings.
One of the room have strong odour smell; one room not cleaned as the bed was wet and clearly not changed the bed sheet from previous guest.
During 2 nigts stay, all 5 rooms located on the 2nd floors do not have water for showers. We have to go to level 1's room for shower.
Some of the room TV and Phone is not working, so unable to make inter-room call but have to walk from room to room.
On the positive side, Hotel Wifi is working, breakfast is good (especially Nasi goreng and Mee goreng). Location is good and walking distance to Ubud market and palace, close to famous pub which open till 1am.
The place to stay for people with special diets. Adjoining Watercress Cafe is great. We loved the ambience of the gardens. Out room was great.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Not too bad but ground floor room had lots of guests passing by our patio, so NOT private. For price pretty good but attached restaurant seemed very expensive for area although food ok.
I am shocked at the online rating of this hotel! The photos do not do it justice! This hotel is so beautiful/exotic and the staff were so pleasant and friendly
We had a very nice stay here. Staff went above and beyond to help with any questions or queries. Very nice vibe & atmosphere around the hotel. Pool is in the shade most of the day so you can't really sunbath in the sun if that's what you like to do. However, great location, would highly recommend.

Value for money, great location and bad wifi
Great location, value for money and friendly staff. The only shortcomings are bad internet connection in the room, it was full of mosquitos at the lobby (when no wifi in the room that you had to stayed at the lobby for wifi), the pool and cushions at the lobby were not so clean.

Good location and great staff
Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The staff were one of the best things actually, they went above and beyond a few times helping us to contact people and translating, booking various things etc. When we had an issue come up they were on it really fast. Our friend's air con leaked over the desk below with her laptop on. Fortunately it survived. The staff moved her to a much better room, except that it smelt of mould. My friend didn't seem to mind but make sure you check your room first before taking it.
Also they seem to be at the end of renovations, they were building a path which made a fair amount of noise in the day, which wouldn't normally matter except it kept waking up our baby on her nap times.

Located in great area of Ubud
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the monkey forest, and is on the main strip of restaurants, hotels, cafes, etc. it can be a little noisey at night due to the restaurant next door with live music everynight. Overall not a bad place to stay while your in Ubud!
When we first arrived we were pleased with the location and the garden setting, however our first room had an old bathroom with poor drainage and a very mouldy smell to it. After 2 days we moved to an upstairs room with a renovated bathroom. This room was very nice but after one night the shower would not drain. The staff came and cleared the shower of a lot of mucky hair and grunge and the shower drained fine again. On the fourth night the sink in the vanity basin would not drain so again the staff had to come and fix it. Because of another issue that I cannot mention because the police became involved, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite at no extra charge. This room had a large tub and separate shower, kettle, hairdryer, flat screen TV with Foxtel and DVD player and was really very nice. However, we had to get the DVD player replaced because it was faulty and there were only three English speaking TV channels anyway. Also, because the hotel was undergoing room renovations, the water pressure for a shower was very poor dwindling to nothing. Turns out the workers had turned off the water to facilitate their plumbing renovations. Added to that there was no hot water one day and we had to have cold showers before we went out on a pre-arranged tour. The final straw was that on the last day of our stay the hotel closed the swimming pool for renovations and could not negotiate a pool close by for us to cool down after a day out. Staff very obliging, management rubbish.

Central and convenient Ubud
Great central location, our booking was handled poorly by the desk staff and the buildings needed repair - one handrail was completely eaten out by white ants and was unstable, but the rooms themselves were good, with the biggest beds I have ever seen! Breakfast was ok too
The only good thing about this hotel is the neighbourhood. The room is not clean, smelly bed sheet. AC is broken and not cool enough. TV is old, small, and broken. Swimming pool is dirty. The staff are not friendly.
Adi Cottage was in a great location. The staff are amazing. However to be honest the room was nothing like it showed on the ad. No TV for evening entertainment. The wifi (hotspot) did not stay connected, always dropping out.
Check the room before booking.

A Friendly Staff and Great Location
I've stayed at this hotel many times because it's in a great location right in the middle of Monkey Forest Road. It's easy to walk to all of the major attractions in Ubud like the Monkey Forest which is only a 10 minute walk. They have free WiFi, a nice pool, and very helpful staff. Don't expect luxury. This is more of a place to be if you like to be in the center of everything. It's quiet and comfortable but please don't stay here for your entire vacation or you will miss out on the true Bali experience. Move about the island, staying a few days at each place.

Not the best hotel -advertising is incorrect
Our first room was absolutely terrible, stunk so much of mould that we spent $10 on bleach and air fresher. There was no tea or coffee facilities and not even a fridge. The bathroom was so disgusting I used the toilet near reception rather than having to be in that room. The air con didn't work and there was no cable tv as advertised only Balinese channels. The first night stray cats tried to get I. The window and we think they had probably been sleeping in the rooms when unoccupied.
The room was so mouldy it was making me cough and feel sick that we complained. They moved us to a superior room that was cleaner and at least didn't smell like mould.
The new room was nicer and aleast had a small fridge to keep water cold but had no tea or coffee making facilities and no tv channels in English.
The bathroom was clean, but looked nothing like the photos advertised.
When I raised this with the staff they said they had told expedia but they kept advertising wrong, which is disappointing.
Breakfast was included, it was tasty enough (4 choices off a set menu, but only 3 available) and when we tried to add extras and pay for hem we were told that we can only have the set menu , no extras.
Staff at the hotel were friendly and polite. It is in a good location and pool is nice.
It is an ok hotel to stay in, provided you don't get the standard room at the back (go at least superior) and don't believe the advertising which is misleading.
