Beautiful place! Would definitely stay here again!
Lovely hotel, very relaxing, close enough to town to walk (a free shuttle is provided if you don’t want to walk) but far enough away to not be in the hustle and bustle. Friendly staff who are very accomodating. Excellent facilities. Lovely to be able to relax at the swim up bar after a busy day sightseeing. Lots of options for food and drinks and loved that room service operated til 11pm. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. This beautiful hotel is in the side of a small gorge where the river runs through so there is lots of steps and stairs to get from the bottom to the top.

Bali spirit hotel was just breathtaking, as soon as you enter the lobby you are met with the feeling of peace. The on site Tanto restaurant was delicious, and the pool was lovely to relax by and swim in to cool off from the bali sun. Beautiful grounds, beautiful view of the river and lovely big rooms. I don't have a negative thing to say, loved every minute of our stay here. Thank you Bali Spirit and Staff

Bali Spirit is an older property that could use some upgrades and cleaning of some outdoor areas of the property. Despite the dated furniture and treatments, the landscaping is lovely and there are many peaceful nooks in which to relax outdoors. Bali Spirit is very close and walkable to stores, restaurants and attractions like Monkey Forest and various yoga/Pilates studios. Checkin was easy and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. There’s also a large area for parking. This property has a lot of stairs- if you have any physical limitations, this may not be the property for you. The bathrooms are very small compared to other hotels and villas similar to Bali Spirit; however the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The room was OK but bathroom equipments are not maintained well. I stayed almost a week. I wonder how often my sheets were changed. The good part is the pool is big and nice and the atmosphere is authentic Bali.

We stayed at the Bali Spirit Hotel in Sept 2023 and really enjoyed the hotel, its facilities and its close location to central Ubud without actually being in extremely busy Ubud town center! I walked it and its about 20mins long route following roads into Ubud from hotel - there is a quicker route through the Monkey Forest which I didn't walk but shaves off 10 mins apparently! Hotel factifies great - great breakfast - friendly and smiley staff as always and rooms amazing views over Cos River! Thumbs up here!!!

Old hotel and bad service.
The Hotel is very old, bathroom very old and basic, we had problems with hot water, internet and they even charge us to stay longer even though the hotel was empty. There are plenty beautiful places in Ubud with way better services that treat people like people not like walking money. I would never repeat or recommend this place.

Tranquil setting in Ubud
Bali Spirit was everything we wanted - nice, relaxing pool area with friendly bar staff. Good restaurant on site serving hot breakfast with options pleasing to the whole family. My sons enjoyed the banana pancakes, and my husband and I loved the fried rice with a fried egg. We got pizza for the boys one night and they enjoyed it. The property gardens are beautiful, providing a loving retreat walking distance from downtown Ubud. We rented scooters instead of using the provided transportation, but it was nice to have options.

This property has beautiful breath taking views from your balcony. So first as we entered the lobby it was a big lobby witj open patio so u could see all the trees and it was beautiful. They gave us welcoming drinks and rang a bell to welcome us. The room is decent not the best like u don’t get a cattle to make tea and stuff. The mini bar has little snacks but they’re not worth the price. The balcony on the superior/delux room is amazing. The breakfast is some what ok. It’s not a buffet it’s a set menue so we just ordered diffrent number of American breakfast and shared how ever u can ask for extra food if u want. The pools are amazing there are two pools. There is a river down you can go to too and it’s amazing. We swam with local teenagers in the river and bought them pizza it was amazing will never forget this. One negative is that there aren’t a lot of shops near by but if you go to ubud town whicb is like 10 mins on a bike or 30 mins by walk thru monkey forest then you can rent a bike for your trip which is what we done. The hotel is very close to monkey forest we rode bicycle during midnights be careful of the dogs other than that it’s amazing. USE GRAB FOR TAXI!! Local prizes are ridiculous or if u want a local one then try bargain and try get closer to the price you would pay on grab.

No hand railing to get into the pool and I found the first step deep and also slippery. The gardener helped me to step out. We loved the staff but I need to swim safely. They were receptive to the idea of a hand railing but I would guess it will not be done. Lovely bed and garden.
