This was my first stay in Japan. Minutes away from Dotonbori walking! Convenient to trains, shopping and so much food. Staff was friendly. Spacious bathroom. Also provided storage for luggage after checkout. Great price, better convenience! Would definitely stay again.

I recommend Monterey Grasmare to anyone staying in Namba. Conveniently located next to the train station, excellent service and very helpful personnel.

The hotel is near a lot of underground shopping and restaurant areas. This can make navigation a bit tricky because it's not always clear if the place you are looking for is street level or below. The room was a decent size, but the beds were much closer that expected. Our room had three beds. There was a small walking space between the two larger beds. The smaller bed was touching a wall on one side and the larger bed on the other. There wasn't a lot of room for luggage, but the bathroom was a reasonable size.

Everything was excellent. Room was clean and a little bit bigger compared to standard rooms we get at other hotels..only a little😁. Breakfast is good..although a bit of change in the day to day menu would be welcomed..staffs are excellent as well.

A very good hotel with lots of amenities! Free breakfast, drinks, (including alcohol), and spacious rooms. Very well located right on Dotonbori street near all the action. Comfortable beds and a massage chair in the room, it's hard to beat. Staff are helpful and know enough English to converse. Lots of stuff to do in the hotel alone, though of course the neighborhood is very exciting too.

Lovely space, though the room was small by American standards. Within easy walking to Osaka Station was a definite plus.
