Pleasantly surprised at the level of renovation done on this place. Rooms aee well-appointed and comfortable. Everything has been updated and the furnishings appear to be quite new. The front desk employees were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again if we are back in this area.

Hidden Gem in Willits

We only spent one night at The Woodrose but would have been happy to stay longer. The room was surprisingly large and very well decorated with a modern feel, and we were happy to find that the room had a mini fridge and a microwave. Raj at the front desk was very accommodating and sent us a list of restaurant recommendations in the area that are vegetarian friendly.

Exceeded our high expectations

We had high hopes for this hotel stay due to the ratings and reviews online and this hotel exceeded those expectations. It's the little things and the amazing attention to detail that makes you feel special, including the stamp on the first sheet of toilet paper showed that someone gave this a lot of thought. The furniture and fixtures make so much sense. The bed was great, the room was quiet and very spacious. This was one of the last stays on our 7 day road trip from Portland to San Francisco staying in a different hotel every night and while this was the cheapest of all 7 hotels it was by far the best.

Pass on this one.

Very noisy at 3:00 am!! Room is tiny, one can barely get into the toilet room and shower. Although it's clean, the door to outside has a gap in it I'm guessing no weather stripping? The room has chipped paint on the baseboards. It's a bit rundown. Only one chair, no table, small vanity counter. I'm regretting staying here. There's something to be said for indoor corridors hotels. The pictures on their website makes it look like it's a quaint hotel. It's not. I'm giving it a low rating because of the noise level and how it's run down a bit. The bed is just ok I've had worse. The woodrose is a cheap motel ok for a one night stay. There is a Taco Bell next to it and Safeway across the street, McDonalds close by. Honestly pick somewhere else.

This place deserves an award. I have travelled extensive for business and pleasure (including working for global airlines) and I have never seen something that could appear as a "motel" as you drive by be something as nicely renovated as this. Large, spacious, clean and quiet rooms with thoughtful touches. Really well done. I have been visiting Willits for many years to see family and would always go back here. Thank you again!
