Great location in downtown Ulm, great for shopping and dining, everything is in walking distance. The heated bathroom floor is very nice! They offer a buffet breakfast. We only missed having a coffee machine in the room. The staff is very friendly, I have stayed there before and recommend the Ricu hotel for a stay in Ulm.

This hotel is 2 min to the Cathedral and 10 min to the train station. Very well located. The room is comfortable and large. My only quibble was the reception closure time - I booked through Expedia and both set my arrival time online and emailed them to say I was coming at 11am and hoping to drop off my luggage, and no one replied (when I arrived they gave me a little hassle because they were closed). But that’s not fatal. They should make this clearer on the website, and on communications, as I stay on Riku hotels often and I have never seen this before.

Ulm RiKu Hotel stay
Great location within a block of the United Cathedral. No dedicated parking, but nearby underground lot was only 10 Euros. Only problem was trying to find the hotel building— the sign is small and a couple floors above ground level, not where you would look, especially in the rain! However, once we found it, the rest of our stay was great, and the food in the associated restaurant was also great.

Good not great with nice fitness center
Experience was good, not great. Fine hotel with a nice fitness center. There was a decent amount of maintenance going on during my stay which made the experience not as ideal. Hotel though is great for people who are not leaving the FRA area. One unexpected issue was getting a folio after my stay. I had to call the hotel 4 different times and make the same request after multiple unfulfilled promises of sending it to me via email.

Old Ulm experience
The hotel location is exceptional, it is in the heart of Old Ulm and everything is within walking distance. the hotel has a connecting door to the restaurant next door, this is one of the restaurants serving schweinshaxe year around. I will definitely stay here again.
