Loved my stay! Only thing needing improvement is the lighting in the bathrooms are brutal. Having one light switch is really jarring and makes the space feel really outdated. Please adjust to more modern and comfortable lighting options, like multiple switches for early AM or late at night mood lighting + how about a fan in the toilet?

We have been coming to the Lodge at Vail for over 40 years. This time, however, we had a three bedroom condo which was not at all up to this Rock Resort's standards. Doors were falling off hinges or wouldn't close, the balcony had barrier wood attached and no screens, the stove had many inoperable knobs, one bed was so saggy our guest had trouble sleeping, and more. It was embarrassing to bring our out-of-town guests to this condo.

Dirty hotel in vail

Minisplit ac did not work and was super dirty clogged with dust filters not cleaned. Asked the night we arrived to have it fixed front desk suggestion was to open a window. Next day asked front desk to fix it and clean it they send someone to clean it did not move mi clothes and all the dirt fell on mi close a lot of dirt and they just left it there. Did not make our room or clean it

Hotel is located in the heart of Vail village convenient to everything. While the hotel could use some upgrade it was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a fan of the high parking fee but given the area I guess they justify it. I would stay here again.

$50 parking fee/valet only. But it’s Vail, so expected. Beautiful grounds. Hot tub was under construction which was a bummer after a day of mountain biking. Room was very spacious and had big windows in each area providing a beautiful view, but needed some upgrades. Couch was pretty worn. Bathroom needed some fixing as well. Anything we needed, was provided for us in a decent amount of time with a smile. It was a lovely stay. I would stay there again!
