What a stunner !! This hotel is small and amazing … Would stay here again without a doubt !! Our hot tub never really got “hot” but the views from the balcony more than made up for it !’

Good location

Lovely old building and in a great location. Very friendly staff. Kindly gave me a birthday card, balloons and voucher for drinks. Breakfast cooked nicely and good choices. Think the bed might have had a waterproof cover on which wasn't very comfortable. Hotel laid on transfer which made it easier.

Nice hotel, noise problem.

A nice smallish hotel in a good fairly central location. Very good breakfast. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout. The only downside was that our room experienced noise from below from a part of the property that was, apparently, not owned by the hotel. Loud, thumping music came through on the number of daytime occasions and when we complained to the hotel, they said they were unable to do anything about it until after 10 o’clock at night because of legislation. After our third complaint, we were offered a move to a different, and upgraded room. However, as there were only 36 hours of our stay left, it did not seem worth the hassle. Our strong advice is explicitly state you do not want room 101 (one of the larger rooms with balcony).

Lovely hotel, great location, comfortable rooms, and safe area. The only thing that could be improved is introducing heating in the rooftop swimming pool, because it can't be otherwise used during winter/autumn.

We stayed a week at the Palais Le Brun - our first visit to Valletta - and cannot recommend it enough. The staff were lovely, the room spacious and welcoming and it's in a quiet location a short walk to many of the sights.

Great location, comfortable bed and pillow. Decent size room, not immaculately clean as there was hair hanging on the lampshade. The main issue was different types of noise - unfortunately my hearing is sensitive. I have had a private hot tub room. In other hotels, the jet was always off until it is being turned out. However the jet in the hot tub at this hotel turned itself on even tried turning it off numerous times. I did not realise that on my first night therefore there was a low pitch humming noise which disturbed my sleep. I had turned the main switch off on my second night to stop the noise. However, the washing machine in the staff room next door started at about 7am in the morning which disturbed my second night of sleep. The hotel compensated with a 30 minutes massage which was greatly appreciated. But on the forth night, I had no control of the hot tab in the room next door...it was on the whole night. I could not sleep and asked to change to a quiet room, appreciated that the hotel staff was very helpful and changed to a quiet room. I was being charged for that room rate, difference is only by cents but I felt that I was being punished by the noise as well as the inconvenience. I did not have decent sleep 3 out of the 4 nights of my stay. Breakfast quality was good however the portion size was far from generous. Especially the amount of bake beans offered, it was served in a tiny relish pot which contains barely couple of tea spoons worth of

Great place to stay in Valetta

Amazing place. Easy walking distance to everything, but away from the crowds. The breakfast was excellent too. The Hotel staff were very nice, helpful and professional. They helped us with finding a taxi to get back to the airport and were following up with the driver every few minutes when he was delayed due to traffic (as we were getting late for our flight). Although we had already checked out in the morning, we were allowed to leave our luggage at the Hotel, and when we came back in the afternoon, we even took a shower and changed at no extra cost.

Amazing staff!

My god this place was beautiful - and so were the people there! The hotel itself was amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about it: the location was fantastic, the room was beautiful, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. However on our last night there (staying 5 nights) I fell and dislocated me knee quite badly. I was not able to move or get up. As I have had this happen a few times before, I knew that I needed an ambulance as I required pain medication or laughing gas to allow me to relax enough for the knee to go back into place. My fiancé went downstairs to the front desk to get help -and the staff were incredible. Not only did they arrange for help to come right away, both the lady on duty at the desk and the manager both came upstairs to our suite to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible while help arrived. They were just amazing. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It is not a huge hotel - which is wonderful. Whenever you come or go from the lobby, the staff give you a smile and say hello and they remember who you are! I love this place. And my thanks so much to the staff for going above and beyond to help me when I was injured!

This was our second visit and hope it won’t be our last. Lovely hotel with clean, comfortable rooms situated within easy reach of all Valletta’s attractions and eateries. Had a hot tub room this time and would heartily recommend as it was lovely to relax between sightseeing. Very quiet for such a central location. Staff all very helpful - only criticism is that service at the upstairs bar was variable - probably as it’s out of season.
