We always stay at the Desert Inn when stopping in Van Horn. Check-in is simple, the room is always clean, and staff are friendly and helpful.

The Heater/AC was either hit or cold and the bed had a huge sink in the middle, very hard to sleep with train track. The man, whom I think was owner was extremely polite/nice. Very clean!

This was a last minute booking for an overnight stay. It is an older motel, but it was comfortable. The room was clean, and the person who checked us in was quick. There wasn't much in amenities, but we were satisfied with our room. The heater in the room worked well as the temps dropped down into the 30's that night.

AC was cool. Would recommend an extra pillow on the king size bed for a total 4. Also a box of kleenex would be nice in order to not have to use the toilet paper.

Manager was friendly and efficient. Property has been nicely restored and is well maintained. Our room was very clean and the parking was excellent with luxuriant, full-sized spaces that can accommodate almost any vehicle with room to get in and out of the car. Most places you need a shoe horn to get a Prius in to the space.

This was a great stay for an overnight drive through. I read previous reviews and they were right, it was clean, bed was comphy and a safe area. It has been renovated and we were surprised at how clean it was. We will stay here again when in town.
