This was one of the cleanest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The AC unit was loud, but kept the room nice and frosty. The train was kind of annoying but not nearly as loud as I feared.

Nice staff and property.

Traveling from Arizona back home to Texas and had a one night stay over. Staff was really nice and the motel is really great. It’s been updated and is clean and well kept. Even the parking lot is nice! Well lit for outdoor security too. Definitely staying here again!

The Desert Inn is an old style highway motel. Personable staff. Clean room and bathroom. Parked my motorcycle right outside my door. Great peace of mind. I would stay again and recommend for others.

For the money? This was a Gem hidden in plain sight. The owner was both gracious and kind. The room was super clean. The only issue was the high speed freight trains running behind the property. Otherwise the best bang for the buck there is.

Great for the price and limited options.

Stayed here on my way to Las Cruces. For a motor inn style hotel, it was pleasantly nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I’d stay here again for sure.

The room was not ready at 3:30. When I did go in the room, it smelled of excessive sprays to make it seem clean. Be aware there is a train that runs behind! No coffee pot! No bathtub. A very rundown building. Basically you get what you pay for, it’s a cheap sleep and run. We will be paying a little more next time somewhere else.

The good part- The property was clean, the bed was comfortable, small microwave, tiny fridge, room was large. Bad part- no coffee anywhere on the property. I went to loves and bought a coffee, kept it in the fridge overnight, then heated it up in the microwave in the morning. I have to have coffee first thing in the morning. The air conditioner blows right on you while you’re in bed and the lowest setting is pretty strong and it’s loud. I hate that but some people might like it. The tv is pretty small considering it’s all the way across the room. But that’s not really a big deal.
