The staff were great, breakfast was great. We got to Van Horn after a long drive, the room was nice but it was too noisy being close to the interstate and the train. We had a hard restless night.

I booked a room with a king bed and a sofa bed; I was given a room with a king bed and a chair. My children ended up sleeping on the ground. I chose “pay at property” when I booked, only to find out that they tried to charge my card 8 times before I arrived, starting 10 hours prior. The facilities were fine and the hotel is decent. I am unhappy about those two instances.

Generally it was fine. The staff was acceptably friendly. Nothing over the top. Place is clean but run down a bit. Hole in the carpet, ding in the door. That sort of thing. Fine for a night on a trip.
