This is a little gem off the freeway that the whole world needs to know about! It is so charming and so quaint and filled with the friendliest people! Our rooms were filled with beautiful furniture and a beautiful little porch that was overlooking the most charming outside patio area! The restaurant is incredible and we had exceptional food for dinner and the best free breakfast in the morning before heading out! You have to check it out!

This is a unique property built in 1939. It has been updated over the years...but many good things of the past have been preserved. We enjoyed the restaurant & bar and free parking. We highly recommend this hotel!

We had such a great stay that we're rerouting to stay after our 5 week trip. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service throughout was great and while it's a charming 50 room historic hotel it has 21st century comfort.

Beautifully restored historic hotel. The patio made the room feel much larger. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The dinner was very good with excellent service. Breakfast included several hot options-more than just a continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

This is the place to go if you are in Van Horn. Exceeded my expectations and will definitely stay here every time I have to visit for work. Their outdoor patio/dinner area was the perfect spot to unwind from a busy day and finish up work! All the staff was so pleasant and helpful! Dog friendly and so clean! Love the old Spanish Mission feel! Thanks for a great stay, and can’t wait to return!

Safe location. Front desk Staff is super nice, warm, friendly. Beds are really comfortable, towels are soft! Water pressure and heat are great! Be mindful of smaller parking lot (though it’s lit up like a dealership which is good), if you had a lot of luggage like us (moving across country) there’s no easy access like regular hotels to grab the trolley right in front of the door. You have to park in a single thirty minute spot outside on the street curb and walk into the hotel to grab it and walk it pretty far from outside the building. See Google maps front of the building, that’s where folks walk into to check in. Train only sounded a couple times around midnight, loud but it was just a minute or so. We were still up. AC isn’t really strong, but was enough with the ceiling fans in the bigger suite. Other than that, we enjoyed the historical aspect of the building and appreciate the front desk gentleman and his accommodating demeanor - especially after driving for ten hours! Fridge is a nice touch too!
