So much cheaper than staying in Venice. Train a three minute walk and you get off on the heart of Venice. So easy

Their breakfast buffet had a lot of variety! It was great. The hotel is very close to all of the bus stations, take line 2 at Mestre FS to get to Venezia (Venice) Take Line 2 in Venezia to get back and get off at Mestre FS. 10-15 mins bus ride Beds are a bit firm, also could use more than 1 pillow a person. Overall great place to stay if you don’t want to actually stay in Venice.

I was highly satisfied with my stay at Campanile. My room was modern and very clean and quite pleasant compared to other 3 star hotels I've stayed at. The staff are really friendly and the maids always said hello and smiled. Our room faced the train tracks so if you're not used to hearing the sounds of a busy train station then I recommend getting ear plugs (trains don't run all through the night afaik). The hotel is within walking distance from Mestre station with excellent transport links to Marco Polo Airport as well as the heart of Venice. Trains also take you to Verona and Rome from here. There are plenty of dining options in the immediate vicinity, with the town centre and superstore only a 15 minute walk away. My only suggestion to the hotel is to provide face tissues in the bathroom

Unfortunately the hotels wifi system was down the day we arrived and continued into the next day. We were told it was a regional problem not just their hotel, but it did impact our ability to check in for our flights on line etc. The room didn't have a fridge nor self serve coffee/tea. They didn't have any maps for venice. Those things would have been nice to have. We will say that the manager went above and beyond to help us with our flight check in and overall we would stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is just a a few minutes walk to the bus, train and underground stations. You can catch an airport bus €10 by the bus stn too. It's €1.50 by bus to Venice and less by train. There's a massive SPAR supermarket 2-3 minutes away.
