Real gem in Venice and great value
I had an excellent experience at Alla Vita Dorata. It's slightly off the beaten track, which means it's quiet and away from the tourist crowds. Yet, very close to the water bus stop from the airport and conveniently placed for the attractions. Communication from the owner was excellent before my stay, and service whilst there was caring and friendly. The breakfast in particular deserves mention for the great selection and quality. I'm hoping that I will be able to return to Venice, and Alla Vita Dorata, in the future.

Such a gem!
Absolutely excellent. The level of custoer service was superb. You are really made to feel part of the family. Please don't miss out on the single table terrace, overlooking the canal. Sitting here eating breakfast was the perfect start to the day. Upon check-out, the host even looked after a vase I purchased so I could collect it when I came back from my cruise. Now that is service! Highly recommended!

Great place to stay in Venice!
Nice breakfast and one table on small balcony on water that was a great photo opportunity. Close to Ca’ D’ Oro water bus stop which was only 4 stops from train station. In cute area with newspaper stand and market around the corner. Cute room with great shower. Only 15 minutes to St Marks square.

This is a great property with very attentive landlady. Breakfast was delicious and the views are incredible. Perfectly out of the way of tourists but close enoughbto walk to most of the sights.

We had a lovely stay for our honeymoon here. Staff super helpful and friendly. Great location close to all that Venice has to offer. Very conveniently located especially for the water bus that takes you to the airport. Breakfast was nice and coffee machine a big hit! Smart TV in room was great so it felt like a home from home. The main highlight was also meeting Chiro the dog who sometimes helps out at reception. Thanks for a fabulous time!

The room on a canal was nice. The outdoor breakfast table made for a pleasant breakfast. The location was close enough to walk to major sites and shopping areas.

We enjoyed a great 3 night stay at this property in room 3 which is on the ground floor looking over the canal. Even in September, the crowds in and around Piazza San Marco were intense and it was nice to walk into a quiet neighborhood without hustling around swarms of people. It’s not a long walk to either San Marco, Rialto Bridge and Fondeco dei Tedeschi or the vaporettos to Murano etc from Fondamente Nove. I used google maps (get an international cell plan from your carrier before you leave the US) to navigate the narrow streets and we never got lost. Using that, there really is no need to be in a hotel nearer the attractions. At the end of our trip we booked a water taxi to the airport which came right to the Alla Vite Dorata dock. Very convenient. There is a good buffet breakfast served each morning and cookies and tea available in the afternoon. The rooms have a safe for your passport and valuables - not that we felt we needed one. Ristorante Vecia Cavana is 2 minutes walk and was good enough for us to eat dinner at for two of our three nights.

Nice abode in Venice
Our room was clean, nicely decorated and cozy with all the neccessary amenities. Aircon is cool, a perfect place to relax after exploring Venice. A coop just few step away and delicious restos with the area. Walkable to tourist spots the rialto area and san marco square. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. A good start for the day. Love its coziness and ambience. 👍👍👍
