Stay away from Ca Sagredo Venice
The hotel is truly an old dump. The building is a gorgeous, dilapidated relic. But the hotel is dirty and beyond repair. I have photos of the carpets walls fixtures and more and video of our bathroom walls with black mold growing on them. We complained but no one responded and there were no other rooms available in Venice at the time. It was a nightmare. We reached out to management for help and of course radio silence. We are sending our pictures and videos to the media so they can make travelers aware.

Great location and value for money. The room was large with a little terrace. The aircon was not strong but ok and there’s no tea coffee facility or kettle in the room for hot water. Otherwise great service, calm and quiet with a beautiful old and authentic feel.

Our room booked via Expedia was on the top floor, carpets were heavily stained, the wifi, in spite of the staff’s best efforts to get it working, with extenders, did not want to work in our room, I had to go to the second floor to connect and catch up on work. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, it is quite dated, at some point, perhaps 50 years ago, it may have been.. the staff was very helpful and very nice…

Wonderful and unique, the property feels like it belongs in the renaissance era. Charming with plenty of opportunities for stunning pictures. Skip the breakfast as it is mediocre at best and considering the fact you are in food heaven there are many better options available nearby. Be advised that the hotel will not provide an iron or kettle as the fire danger is a concern.
