A hidden oasis just minutes from the airport.
This hotel was an absolute gem. It's just minutes from the airport with convenient shuttle service. Although you're you're near the airport, you feel like you're in a farm-to-tablr oasis. There's a shuttle to take you to the local, partnered restaurant just up the road to enjoy a beautiful dinner. I'll definitely be staying here on my return trips. Beautiful, serene, quiet, and the perfect hidden getaway for work travelers, especially.

The receptionist at Ca'Tessera was very kind and accommodating. I believe his name was Andy. We were unable to check in early, but he was willing to store our luggage while we did a day tour. He also went out of his way to get our room ready early as one of our party was feeling badly and did not feel like doing the tour with us. Andy made cleaning our room a priority so our person could get in the room and rest. this is superior service! The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the bus stop to get into Venice to the central train and bus station with water taxis nearby. However, we chose this hotel for its convenience to the airport as we had a 6:30 am departure. For 20 euros, a shuttle was ready and waiting for us at 4am to take us to the airport. Thank you!

The shuttle bus provided by the hotel was 30 euros one way. It was a 2 minute journey. The breakfast was ok but the coffee was the worst I’ve ever had. The juices were also bad.

Skip Mestre, stay in the Venetian Lagoon
Billed as a resort, but faded. Not worth it. You literally have to go back to the airport to get to the lagoon anyway. Unless you must stay in Mestre, if you’re visiting Venice- stay in the Lagoon- (any of the islands, Murano is really close to the airport.) The water buses are so convenient and so much more pleasurable. Venice is a jewel, Mestre is like staying in the suburbs.

When we checked in to the property, we met a couple at the reception desk who were complaining about the room due to the presence of cocktoach in their room!!! Luckily the room we had was large enough and didn't have any issues. Shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent and we paid £25 for 2 adults and 3 kids. Also, the bus stop to get punlic transport to Venice was only 7 minutes walk . Breakfast was ok. Didn't allow us to have a coffee or extra coffee sachets / creamer to make a coffee when we approched the hotel before the brrakfast beigins in the morning. We had a mixed feeling about this hotel.

Loved this quaintness of this hotel. It’s so close to Marco Polo airport. It’s older but maintained beautifully. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Breakfast for 10euros worth it. I’d definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

This hotel was conveniently located for our airport departure and had a shuttle available at a cost. It would have been nice to have a little bar or snack service onsite but they did have a shuttle to a nearby restaurant in the evening. We walked to get pizza and this was only about a 15-20 min walk. The lights would turn off when you plugged in the hair dryer or the kettle but it was a simple convenient stay and the staff were very pleasant.

Property was definitely older but it was clean and close to the airport. We arrived quite late at night so called for a shuttle service, they arrived within 5 mins! Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just okay- I don’t think it was worth the additional cost. We did enjoy the use of the indoor pool and sauna before going to the airport in the morning!
