Lovely property in Venice & wonderful breakfast
This is a lovely historic property in central area just off the Grand Canal so a quieter area. The room was a large high ceiling room in renaissance style with a balcony overlooking a small canal so although a bit dated it felt like we were staying in a palace and the bathroom was updated. The included breakfast was wonderful and the staff pleasant and helpful. The hotel is on a side canal so we were able to take a water taxi directly from the airport to the door which was worth the splurge. On departure we walked to the train station which was only 10 minutes and two bridges away. Would definitely stay again.

This beautiful hotel was on a quiet street but steps away from the busy fun activities of Venice. The hotel provided a nice breakfast with good coffee. The people working there were genuinely kind and helpful.

I loved staying at this charming and beautiful palazzo in Venice in the Cannaregio neighborhood. It has all the charm of being directly on a canal without being directly in the path of the busiest foot traffic areas of Venice. The daily breakfast and coffee bar service was an unexpected and wonderful treat. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They made suggestions for places to eat the best local cicchetti, recommendations for how to take in the free Art Biennial festival, and arranged our departure water taxi. Absolutely wonderful hosts. The accommodations were chic and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this as a fantastic place to stay and enjoy all that Venice has to offer.

Our first time in Venice and it was a true experience. Extremely helpful staff, arranged our train transportation when we were in Venice, ordered the water taxi to the station and really did anything we asked. Very charming property, nothing like it in North America. Would probably stay here again.

It’s good
The hotel is very historic and the staff very helpful, Alessandro and the two women. One expects a historic hotel in Venice to not have modern amenities in the room and it doesn’t. I would avoid the rooms that are split level as it’s a hassel to go up and down. The location is beautiful, the breakfast more than adequate. (We’re probably spoiled by some outstanding modern hotels we’ve stayed in while in Italy. I’ve found them to be far better than many U.S. hotels, they don’t nickel and dime you for every little thing)

We enjoyed our stay in Venice. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good. The room was a little dated with an awkward configuration. The location was quiet but not much soundproofing between the interior walls. We were on the ground floor in a standard room… upstairs probably would be better.

To be completely honest the hotel is very old but it is nice, overall you will have a great experience unless you run into Benetta, the lady is miserable and spreads her poison around without thinking twice. I would love to leave a better review but I can’t because of the experience I had with Benetta. People like her should never work in customer service
