Convenient Location for Weekend in Venice
We were 4 adults who stayed here in Apartment 1 on the ground level. The space was small. Furniture doors/drawers bump into each other when opened. There is no soap dish in the shower, or any place to leave toiletries. The memory foam bed was extremely comfortable. I slept great there. The bathroom and kitchen surfaces were clean, but there were plenty of scuff marks all around the white walls of the apartment. We were very happy with the location of this place, which makes up for some of the downfalls. It is close to the bus station where you get the bus to/from the airport. Major points of interest are within 20 minutes' walk.

Venice
Lovely location in a fairly quiet area but close to restaurants and a 15-20 minute walk to st marks. The apartment itself was quite dirty, the shower head had broken and was taped up and I am 6ft3 and had to bend down a bit in the shower as the apartment we were in was an attic conversion. It always puts you on edge when you walk around the apartment and see big notices warning of €500 Euro fines for not doing the bins correctly (what are we paying our money for?)or fiddling with the boiler/thermostat. Venice itself was a lovely place - we have booked to return next year but won’t be coming staying here again.

Great apartment. Stairs up with luggage is a bit of a challenge. Steps are smooth stone, so must be extra careful, particularly coming down. Noise from neighbouring apartment is audible, if they drag a chair across the floor we could hear it clearly, presumably neighbours had to put up with our noise too.

The hotel experience was the worst part of Venice
The address was wrong as well as the phone number. Could not contact anyone. We sat in an empty lobby for over two hours while Expedia got ahold of someone to call me back. They never called, they just showed up hours later (7pm). Worse hotel experience ever. I paid Extra for a "canal view", and didn't get it. Instead I got no windows at all. They were on the ceiling where we could not reach them!! They just shrugged their shoulders and said oh well this is all we got. Never book this hotel. Terrible service.

Lost a day in Venice- location/phone number were incorrect
My family and I recently traveled thru Europe for 2 weeks and loved every moment of it besides our stay at this location. I have used HomeAway for most of my travel adventures and have never been disappointed until using "Best Venice Apartments Santa Croce". Typically the home owner will reach out and make arrangements to meet up for exchange of the keys. Oh but not this time, after about a week in Rome and all the amazing sightseeing I had never heard from the company other than they had collected my money. I tried reaching out to the number provided and I received an Italian message that the phone number was not good. So I reached out to HomeAway and they were "successful" in reaching the owners that stated I could simply go to the address provided and pick up my keys. This was strange to me because it is not a hotel. So I believed the reps and made my way to the address on my reservation..... When I arrived the apt. was not there. So I had to walk and carry all my luggage back to the train station and had a guy that carries luggage to hotels attempt to help us. I called HomeAway back and they attempted again to reach out to the apt owners and got new information. Again I ended up at the wrong place. Long story short finally got the correct address and was able to "check" in to my room at 5:30 when I had arrived in Venice at 12:30. And as some clarification you DO NOT have a view of the Grand Canal. After meeting up for the keys the girl did verify both the address and phone number were not correct on my confirmation paperwork. There was no compassion from the apt owners nor an attempt to make anything better. So we lost a whole day of Venice because we were only going to be there 2 days before heading to our next stop in Europe. I am only marking 1 star because I have to. I decided to leave this review so nobody else has to go thru these complications on their trip of a lifetime like me.

Clean, comfy, don't pay for the breakfast!
Over a great experience! The only down fall is you have to find your way to the apartment which gets a bit tricky especially if you have your luggage with you( lots of bridges and stairs) Apartment was very clean, all appliances were there and worked, on a quiet street, good location. DONT get the breakfast-waste of your money!!! Promised a fully stocked fridge and all we got was Nutella, croissants, milk, sugar and coffee packets.

Worst hotel I ever stayed at
This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was dirty, and the entire apartment had black mold on the walls and ceilings. They didn't let us Check in until 7:00pm that night which was ridiculous. the service there was horrible. The apartment didn't have one single roll of toilet paper so I emailed the staff to get some and they simply responding by saying that it wasn't included in the price. I never seen a place so dirty and worst staff in my life.

So much potential and so many problems
This is an apartment with lots of potential and in a great location, but unfortunately the apartment has a lot of problems and the management company has not resolved them despite a review months ago. The wiring is inadequate and fuse blows repeatedly. The shower has no curtain which has resulted in a serious mildew problem and peeling paint and plaster. The bathtub is also virtually unusable because water pressure is very low and the water gets cold long before the tub fills. There is only one key to the apartment, which creates problems if members of your group want to do different things.

DON'T STAY HERE !!!
Please don't consider this apartment for your vacation! The only reason I gave it a "1" in each category is because there is no "0" as an option. The pictures of the apartments are likely several years old, because the place didn't look at all like the photos. The service was non-existent ... there is no front desk and you won't get a number to contact the person in charge ... only an email address that won't be answered on weekends. However, maintenance is available by email 24/7. The place was dirty, mattresses were hard, and the furniture is dated. There were ants and mosquitos, there was mildew around the bathtub, and the circuit breaker is thrown when you use the washing machine. We had to supply our own toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc.

The apartment had a terrible smell of paint, only one bathroom for 6 persons, the location was no good at all, no view to anywhere, just to walls, in the above apartment there were men working, loud noise from very early in the morning, impossible to have a good stay

Nice Modern Apartment
Nearby to San Stae Boat Station. 5min walk to Supermarket. The rooms are adequately sized and comfortable. Decor was modern and great. Only 1 bathroom. No safe in apartment which can be an inconvenience. Easy walking distance to main attractions like Rialto ans St Mark Square. Kitchen was adequately equipped. No Wifi provided as per advertised and booked. Need to go up a flight of stairs which can pose a problem if lugging huge luggages. Can be noisy at night due to passer-by in the narrow alleyway below.

Extremely disappointing
The apartment website on Hotels.com stated less than .21 kms from the train station. In fact you do not even know where your apartment is going to be. The agency has several properties and you can end up in any of these apartments. Their website is misleading. Their agent drops you off at the apartment and then you are left on your own. No help or guidance about the city at all. You feel abandoned. We stayed at several apartments during our visit to Italy and never experienced such poor level of service. Internet did not work 90% of the time. Bath shower clogged. Sent 3 emails before maintenance fixed it. Booked rooms after talking to an agent at hotels.com and even she did not have the correct information about the location and the amenities of the apartment. Would not recommend.

Dreadful, worst experience ever. The apartment is not where the hotels.com site states it is. It is in a residential neighbourhood. You do not get what you see in the picture. Internet does not work 80 % of the time. Shower drain clogged and washing machine not working. Sent three e mails to maintenance. No response. Staff rude. Sent emails to hotels.com about discrepancy in quoted price and price charged. No response or acknowledgement from hotels.com fit 2 days and counting. Overall, stay away. You feel like you have been stranded and abondoned. Extremely dissatisfied.

Appartement assez bien situé mais...
Nous sommes allés à Venise du 13 au 17 février 2017 avec deux enfants âgés de 3 et 6 ans. Nous avons loué l'appartement CANAL FACING 5, mais il convient plutôt à un couple sans enfant. Le canapé (qui devient lit double) n'est absolument pas confortable et surtout il faut monter 3 étages à pied, c'est trop tous les jours avec des enfants. Il serait bien de le préciser dans l'annonce. Attention, départ de la chambre à 10h le matin, donc veiller à prendre des vols retours en fin de matinée car se balader à Venise avec les valises c'est un peu compliqué. Sinon Sara qui nous a accueilli est charmante. Un très beau séjour à part ça, on peut cuisiner dans l'appart sans pb... Merci !

Wirklich Super!
Super Service wurde beim Bus abgeholt und zum Zimmer geführt; Das App. hat alles was das Herz begehrt und ist super Sauber; Die Lage ist erstaunlich ruhig und trotzdem nur 5min. vom der nächsten Halte-Station am Kanal Grande entfernt.

不錯的,如果熱水爐改善,是不錯的選擇
房間舒適,用具齊全,位置也算方便,唯一是熱水爐很弱,只能大概5mins熱水,然後要關掉再開,而且水力很弱.
