It was like a nice hostel. You could connect your Netflix account to the tv but reception area really could be much more. It pretty much is a candy machine. The room was clean. The bedding kind of felt like it came from someone’s house. It’s okay. All the check in stuff is online even paying the tourist tax. It felt super impersonal. Not my thing

The shower is a bit dangerous and slippery No hot water The front desk told us we could walk to the hotel from the airport This is NOT ideal! At some parts there is no sidewalk and it is da ground with luggage. It is very clean. The bed is uncomfortable

Our room was meant for at least 5 people so it was very spacious. But even the bathroom was large. I was surprised it had an elevator which was nice so we didn’t have to haul our suitcases up any stairs. The location was ideal for getting to the airport the next morning as they were so close and across the street from the bus stop.

Great place for short stay
Decent place to stay closer to Venice. No refrigerator or coffee maker in the room. No bottle water - wending machine in a lobby. Bus station that takes you to historical sites near by. There is a bus #5,10, 15 that takes you to the airport as well, conveniently located few meters away after Pizza restaurant. Actually The bus from airport can be taken to this property too - I have not taken one from the airport because Hotel offers pick up between 2pm and 7pm It is mid of October and the was a little bit too cold and they do not have heating. Otherwise I would consider staying there again if the price is right. Or during stopover.

Good night before a flight.
Very nice, clean, quiet, economical room near the airport. Two suggestions: ac turned off October 1 but was needed. Also, a wand in the shower wound improve the shower. Staff was great.

The website is a bit misleading about "airport shuttle service". It is only available between 2 and 6:45 pm. It is a 24 minute walk, but along a very busy highway where the sidewalk disappears once in a while and trucks, buses are whizzing by. There is an automatic 20 Euro fee for any bus or taxi pick up/drop off at Marco Polo airport, no matter how close to the airport. We chose to walk, but we had very smalll suitcases. Also, there are no good eating or coffee options nearby. Even though the Guest House Onda has a kitchen, there is no way to even boil water for a coffee or tea in the morning. The towel heaters in both rooms we stayed in were not working, even though I asked and was told they would turn it on. Overall, rooms were very clean, newly renovated and lovely. Staff was very kind and good about texting important information. The price was a value.

The room was spacious with shared balcony outside of 2nd floor room. No breakfast. A few restaurants nearby. Free parking. Convenient location. 11 minute walk to Venice airport where you take a water taxi into Venice.
