Only stayed one night out of five we had booked. The first room we were given had bed bugs. We went to the staff and they never said they were sorry, really didn’t say anything. They moved us rooms, that room also had bed bugs. The next morning, we asked to leave and get a refund and they acted like we were crazy that they were in a second room. The front desk person kept saying “impossible, there’s no way” even though we had time stamped pictures and videos. Other than the location to the train station/water bus, we did not have a good experience.

Comfortable and good location.
It qas our first time in Venice. The hotel is in a good locaiton near the teain station and public transport options. Its also easy to get anywhere by foot. The staff at the hotel were friendly and always happy to help. I would reocmmend this hotel if you are planning a trip to venice.

Hidden gem.
It was a last minute choice that turned out to be a wonderful decision. This is now our favorite hotel in Venice. The alley leading to it might seem sketchy at first but trust me, this hotel is worth it. Lovely HUGE lobby. Beautiful inner courtyard. A true hidden gem.

The location was great. It was a three minute walk from the train station. Every staff we encountered was wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was also included with our price. Shower was nice, and the water was hot the tea I like but of course you can adjust the temperature of the water. We stayed close to the train station so that we can depart early in the morning. Walk to San Marco square about 30 minutes and a lot of shops on the way. If you don’t want to walk there is the water taxi that is 9.50 Euros to go to San Marco Square.

This place is a gem. Warm and welcoming with fantastic decor. It's very close to the train, like a 7-minute walk. It's off a little pathway. If you have trouble falling asleep, ask for a room that does not overlook the pathway. It didn't bother me much but still a consideration with people walking past on the stone road talking and laughing while you are trying to sleep. I loved my room. It was decorated well with fantastic sequence wall coverings, beamed ceilings, and a glass chandelier. They considered moody lighting for relaxation. The service was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We were so fortunate to stay one night at Abazzia. Matthias was lovely and helpful and made us feel at home. We had the most beautiful room in the hotel- for four. Beautiful furnishings and lighting- so elegant. Breakfast was amazing. So many delicious choices. Overall an amazing part of our Venice experience.

We loved our stay here in Venice. It was conveniently located near the main canal within walking distance to all of the excitement to explore. I especially appreciated the huge selection of breakfast items which were delicious. Thank you to the front desk clerk who had humor to keep us smiling.
