This place is a gem. Warm and welcoming with fantastic decor. It's very close to the train, like a 7-minute walk. It's off a little pathway. If you have trouble falling asleep, ask for a room that does not overlook the pathway. It didn't bother me much but still a consideration with people walking past on the stone road talking and laughing while you are trying to sleep. I loved my room. It was decorated well with fantastic sequence wall coverings, beamed ceilings, and a glass chandelier. They considered moody lighting for relaxation. The service was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We were so fortunate to stay one night at Abazzia. Matthias was lovely and helpful and made us feel at home. We had the most beautiful room in the hotel- for four. Beautiful furnishings and lighting- so elegant. Breakfast was amazing. So many delicious choices. Overall an amazing part of our Venice experience.

We loved our stay here in Venice. It was conveniently located near the main canal within walking distance to all of the excitement to explore. I especially appreciated the huge selection of breakfast items which were delicious. Thank you to the front desk clerk who had humor to keep us smiling. This hotel is very close to the train station in Venice. It was easy getting from the train to the hotel. The staff was great and we had a very nicely modernized room. The morning breakfast was very good. The desk staff was very helpful helping us with directions, etc.
