It's a beautiful hotel located in an ideal location with easy walking to some of Venice's greatest treasures. The restaurant affiliated with the hotel (just a short walk away, over one bridge) is excellent. Wonderful staff. We'd definitely stay there again. Pro tip: Get a private water taxi from the hotel back to the train station at the end of your stay - it was worth every Euro.

It’s good location and good access with luggage

No lift, however young porter did assist with heavy luggage. Easy walk from ferry with large luggage. Breakfast ok. Reception need to smile. Ironing clothes is a hassle as you have to go to an “ironing room” which is a staff closest/supply room.

Great hotel

The staff were excellent and very helpful when booking transport to and from the hotel. Rooms were clean and perfect for our stay. I would stay again on our next visit to Venice!

The location is amazing, clean, breakfast was good. To get there from the train station head out turn to the right take the sea bus to Giglio station then walk 1 min. One thing the person works in the restaurant/bar his name **Rey** was extremely rude asking us to leave the table even tho we were staying in the hotel. Manager need to take an action and teach his staff how to be nice and behave well. Other than that everything was perfect.

Some good, some not so good

Room itself was average. Lots of really nice storage but the bed was not comfortable. I'm not a big person and kept sinking in the middle. Cleaning staff did a good job. Front desk was helpful. Hotel was centrally located. Worst part was while using a hair dryer (not on the highest setting!) the power in room blew out.....not once but on 2 consecutive days. Front desk said it was because of very sensitive power supply in Venice. I say it is because the hotel is older and needs some upgrades. Because of this power issue I could not recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for three nights recently. Check in was a bit chaotic, apparently a large group showed up as we arrived which meant we had to wait on a long line. We had reserved a deluxe room which wasn't really easy to get to-although there is an elevator to get to the floor once you leave the elevator you still have to walk up 4 or so steps to the floor/room. If you have any mobility issues this can be a problem. Our room was quiet which we appreciated and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom shower was inside a very tall bathtub which made getting in and out extremely challenging . If we were to ever stay here again we would request a room with a shower instead. The location, one long alleyway from the Vaporetto was certainly convenient. Just keep in mind all shopping and restaurants (except for one) were a few minutes away, up and down little bridges over canals. So if you have any mobility issues, this is probably not the best location to stay in.

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel. The staff are very friendly, very polite, very professional and no ask is too much for them. We arrived two and a half hours earlier than check-in time, o asked if we could leave our luggage in the luggage room whilst we killed time waiting for the check-in time, only to be told that our room was ready and we're accompanied to it. Check-out day, the same thing, we had a very late flight out and when I asked if it was possible to have the room til we had to catch to water bus, I was told, we could have it for as long as required free of charge. What hotel does this for you? None in my experience. The breakfast was very abundant with everything from tea, coffee, cappuccino, fruit juices, croissants, a variety of different cakes, bread, rolls, yogurt, various cereals and seeds, scrambled eggs, beautifully crisp bacon, fresh whole fruit and cut fruit pieces, various soft cheeses, salami, ham mozzarella and tomato. You would be a very fussy eater of you couldn't find anything here for breakfast. Our room was a little on the tight side but the bed and pillows more than made up for it. I have never slept on mattress or pillow as comfortable. I only wish o had the same at home. It is very close to the vaporetto stop, approximately 50 metres, and central to everywhere. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND INAHOTEL ALA VENEZIA.

Great accommodation!

Hotel was easily accessed from water transport and central to all San Marco historical sites. Great staff and room. Staff went above and beyond to take care of every need. Breakfast Buffett excellent.

Absolutely perfect hotel a few streets and a couple of bridges from St Mark's Square, fabulous location. Churches, shopping, sightseeing this is a must stop to stay. Transport, traghetti and gondola's next to hotel. Loved our stay again this year. Also breakfast buffet is fantastic, has everything. Amazing price point for location in Venezia.

The staff was friendly, and the room was quiet—perfect for a good night's rest. I especially loved the strong water pressure in the shower. While the room was a bit small, it worked perfectly for us since we were really just there to sleep.
