Excellent location close to train and on grand canal. Easy access to water taxis, gondolas and city transport. Very walkable location to see sites and restaurants. Good breakfast served with cappuccinos/coffee. Staff always available and eager to help! Would happily stay again.

The staff went out of their way to make us all have a pleasant stay. It almost felt like staying at a big family house. Also, this hotel is conveniently located across from the train station, and very close to water shuttle and gondola stops. The downside of this proximity to the train station is that you need to leave early if you plan to use the water shuttles (which fill in quickly with day trippers coming by train after 9am or so). Very close to restaurants, to a supermarket, to a pharmacy, and a good ATM (not one of the infamous Euronet ones) almost next to it.

What a gem this place was! We had a quick stop over before getting on our cruise ship and I am so glad we chose this hotel. One of the greatest things about it was that we were in the middle of all the excitement, but at the same time it was quieter than some of the crazier tourist areas. Our water taxi driver dropped us off right in front of the hotel as we were coming from the airport. We were promptly greeted and the desk clerk even made us dinner reservations at a restaurant he recommended within walking distance. The room was fantastic. It was comfortable and clean and quiet. They did have a standard American toilet with toilet paper and there was also a bidet. Breakfast the next morning was superb and we are still talking about the made from scratch cappuccinos which are the best we've had in all of Europe up to this point in our travels. The staff are friendly, conversational, and incredibly accommodating. If we ever find ourselves in Venice again we will definitely stay here, hopefully for even longer so we can see more of the sites..

The staff was Amazing and so attentive during our entire stay. I saw this same attentiveness towards other guests. Very helpful in every way you would hope while traveling in a foreign country. This beautiful hotel is elegant and has very friendly staff. Provided a free trip to a glass-blowing factory in Murano by private boat. I loved everything about this hotel but especially its convenient location right across from the Santa Lucia train station.

Excellent service, we accepted offer to upgrade to a junior suite for a redouble fee and it was an excellent choice. It was very clean and spacious with amazing views from three windows right across the canal from the St Lucia Train station. Nice spread of breakfast and different types of coffee to indulge included in the room rate. We only stayed one night in Venice after our RC Cruise but this place was a wonderful refuge and great place to end our trip! We shall be back in Venice!

Staff was exceptional. You can tell the hotel put a lot of emphasis on catering to their guests. Breakfast was really good too. Rooms had very good quality materials. Marble and granite, etc. my main concern was that you could smell the odor from the previous guest. Hot sweat. Pretty nasty. The sheets and everything were clean. It must have soaked into the mattress. I’m not sure how the staff would fix this. Small rooms but quaint. Great shower.

Its an old very quaint hotel, the ac works which isn't always the case in older buildings in Italy. Staff is amazing! Very walkable location the water taxi is across the Grand hotel, its a lil walk over the bridge but doable. Would stat there again highly recommend!
