We stayed one night in Venice at this hotel (September 2024) and we are very glad it was for only one night. Venice was amazing despite the crowds and this hotels big plus is that it is a very short distance from St Mark’s Square. We paid €285 plus city tax for two people for one night bed and breakfast. The double room was frankly pretty dire and looked nothing like the photos on the website. It was very small (thankfully we had very little luggage as there was no where to put it) and a tiny en-suite bathroom. It did not look as if it had been decorated since mid 1990’s. Like much of the hotel it was shabby and dated - I would go as far as to say even dilapidated. It was depressing to stay in, dark and dingy, no curtains and a view of scaffolding and rubbish. Although classed 4 star I would say this hotel is 2 star - the only things about it that were 4 star were its location (brilliant) and the price. The reception staff were not exactly friendly or welcoming. Breakfast was ok though, nothing special but ok. We cannot understand how this hotel is so highly rated on Expedia.

Literally steps to San Marco Square. Boat and Gondola dock at the lobby. The shower was really tight and the shower water temperature hard to adjust. It kept fluctuating from to hat to cold.

Older hotel with an outstanding location. Helpful staff. Dinky shower with tricky regulation of the hot/cold water. Central Entrance to San Marco Square within 100 yards. Gondola and water taxi pier at the lobby.

This is a lovely hotel right on the water where the Gondolas work and park for the night. It is steps from Hard Rock Cafe and St. Marks Square. The hotel is beautiful and clean and quite charming. This location is outstanding and perfect. The staff is great and you can watch the Gondolas all day from the balcony and have a brink. It's sectacular!

The hotel is not the fanciest, but it is very comfortable and quiet. We found it to be perfectly located. It is right on one of the canals and it was a delight to watch the gondoliers maneuver their boats up and down the Canal. The hotel is very conveniently located to Saint Marks Square. It is literally 100 yards off the square. That made accessing tours of the Doge’s Palace and Saint Marks Basilica very easy. In addition, the docks where you could pick up a boat to the other islands were right there. The hotel was also very conveniently located to excellent restaurants. We highly recommend it.

Bed and pillow are very uncomfortable. Room was hot and the AC wasn't working at full capacity. The view from our window was bad. The staff were friendly. For the price that this hotel charges I would consider checking out another hotel nearby.
