Hotel dell’Opera is the place to be in Venice. It is a quick 5 minute walk to the all of the most important attractions. The staff is amazing, the breakfast is excellent and the rooms are spacious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone new to Venice.

Hotel was quaint and beautiful!! The front desk gentleman who checked us in was super helpful when we realized that our cruise was leaving out of Trieste and not Venice proper. He gave us all the information we needed to take the train so we would be able to board on time. We will definitely return in the future!!

Friendly staff, good location

Nice location, very friendly helpful staff 24/7. Spacious room and great breakfast. Pictures look like room includes balcony or terrace but there is none. Can book canal view and see gondalas go by and hear singing but windows are high up so you cannot sit and enjoy view.

Wonderful hotel - 10 min walk to S. Marco piazza. Room was large and very comfortable. Staff at desk very helpful answering questions and giving dining recommendations. Hotel right on the canal and took gondola ride right from the door of the hotel. Breakfast very nice too.

Nice hotel. Did the job. Large room facing Canal.

Nice location close to everything related to San Marco Square. In Venice you have to walk everywhere so get ready. There is a Gondola pick up outside the hotel which is nice but those are expensive. Hotel breakfast was simple but essential to start the day so you don’t have to walk somewhere. But there are plenty of places to eat and drink only steps from the hotel. Plus the entire area is surrounded by beautiful churches and sightseeing.

Lovely small hotel in convenient location

We had a lovely stay at Hotel dell’ Opera. The room was comfortable, but a tad dated. The front desk attendant was very friendly and we especially enjoyed the small rooftop terrace.
